RE: Battleship weapons rant thread - Antonio - 11-15-2018 You can use regular pulses and do just as well, autopulses are something extra (they are also still too good). It’s not like pulse/mortar loadouts aren’t viable and using pulses is some kind of punishment - quite the contrary, many consider pulse/hellbore and in this case pulse/kinetics as the strongest loadouts in the game, so the less shield damage thing on kinetics doesn’t matter at all when you will never fire them if your opponent has shield. Yes, you’re forced to use pulses, but the pulses themselves are good weapons and you’re maximizing your dps potential with them. RE: Battleship weapons rant thread - Hubjump - 12-31-2018 Ngl I’m getting really annoyed seeing people try to, and in the case of kinetics nearly succeed to, crutch on spread weapons. Keep them p*** close range and I don’t have much of an issue but anything above 2k and you’re reducing the skill gap in capital ship warfare. Unlike thunderer I don’t have a flare for grand and collected rp but I do have a flare for all aspects of pvp, I agree with jess’ point here. |
