i would think that the introduction of new aliens is unlikely at best to be implemented.
i mentioned it earlier, but the more likely situation is that someone...namely my mad scientist i'm working on...(shameless plug).....genetically engineers a new species.
i think it introduces some new RP as opposed to the new alien race RP that's been done before here in Discovery.
i'm more than willing to RP such a thing with whoever is interested
