![]() User ID: Dom Otork Recipient: Bristol Constructions Subject: Farmers Alliance Hostilities . Greetings, dear colleagues. I come to you bearing unfortunate news that have come to pass over the last several days. As you all know, the Farmers Alliance is becoming an increasingly hostile faction that targets anyone working with Synth Foods due to the hardships the Alliance is enduring as a result of Synths taking over the food market. At an earlier date, an incident occurred where my navigation console plotted a course through the Jump Hole Shikoku > Kyushu, which put my vessel dangerously close to an Alliance base. As my vessel was stopped by a member of the Alliance, we managed to come to a mutual agreement which saw my vessel not being extorted in exchange for avoiding that specific jump hole in the future. For several days after, there were no incidents with the Alliance. That was until the 22/08/834 AS, when a member of the Alliance was disrupting the trade lane network within Shikoku, pirating any unknown vessel. My vessel was unfortunately caught in the lane disruption, and was ejected directly in front of the Alliance bomber. After some discussion and interrogation by the Alliance, a demand of 10,000 Sirius Credits was issued, with which I had to comply, as I preferred coming back in one piece. A detailed communication log will be attached below. I always held out hope that the Alliance is simply struggling to rebuild what they lost to foreign influence. However, after the recent piracy attacks on Bristol vessel, I see them now as nothing more than simple Samura thugs. What makes matters worse is that these piracy raids are occurring on the main trade lane that Bristol uses for Platinum transportation. It is one thing to fight against the Synths, but it is an entirely different thing to go out of their way to pirate neutral organisations. Unacceptable. We as an organisation need to look into possible solutions to this issue, as this is endangering all our employees. Transmission Ends

![]() User ID: Hancock M. Fitzgerald Recipient: Bristol Constructions Subject: Farmers Alliance and Samura . Greetings and salutations, esteemed colleagues. I am writing this message both as a response to the concerns outlined and to provide some clarification on the current state of inter-house affairs in Galileo; the two are quite deeply linked, as you will understand. For those unaware, Galileo is currently at the centre of an ongoing legal struggle between Deep Space Engineering, Kishiro Technologies and Samura Industries, with all three corporations laying concurrent, exclusive claim over the wealth of Platinum found within the system. This bizarre situation appears to have developed as a freelance prospector, one "Taro Yamada", sold the data regarding the field to all three parties, unbeknownst of each other, at the same time, before promptly disappearing with an Emperor's worth of ransom in credits. Honestly, I am not sure if I should applaud the man's brazen gambit or send Bounty Hunters after him - as this remarkable act of greed has caused considerable tensions between Liberty and Kusari! To compound this complicated situation Samura, as is their wont, has taken to underhanded means to get its way. One of those ways is, indeed, employing the Farmers Alliance, aptly described by Dom Otork as their hired thugs; they are little more than that, no matter their claims of poverty and defraud at the hands of foreigners. Make no mistake: Samura Industries is as ruthless as some of Liberty's most pre-eminent corporations, and are just as willing to go to any lengths to gain the upper hand. In light of this, I advise following these policies for the future: Samura Industries: If it is a single vessel passing through, you may ignore it; if it comes with an armed escort, do not approach it. If they feel so bold as to commence mining operations in the Platinum field, however, call for security and meet them in force. Farmers Alliance: To be treated as no better than lowly Rogues. If any appear on scanner, call for aid and head for the nearest station at best speed; if caught, and threatened with destruction, pay or relinquish the cargo. Your life is worth more than your hold. Kishiro Technologies: While technically a competitor, they loathe Samura and their thugs as much as anyone, and have aided us in the past against their aggression. As such, I would let them be so long as they do the same for us. One such occurrence happened yesterday, I am told, and according to the report the mining party has been swiftly dispatched, the ore secured, and the lifepods of the offenders delivered to the nearest station. Expertly done by our security crews. Keep up the good work, and keep watch for future attempts; there will be, I do not doubt. Transmission Ends

![]() User ID: Cassandra Whitley Recipient: Bristol Constructions Subject: Potential Customer & Minor Technical Issues . Date: 834-10-16 Hey there, Got a few things to report. First off, during our cargo runs to Akutan, we ran into the independent frigate IV Rose Mallow over at Bristol Bay. Their crew seems to be part of some kind of space community. Looks like the folks aboard are interested in reaching out to our company about doing a full overhaul on one of their other DL-series cargo ships. Secondly, the operational tests on the BCV Ontario are going as planned - no losses of property or crew so far. But my engineer pointed out that some parts in the secondary systems seem underpowered and might wear out quicker than we'd like. We're talking about things like auxiliary power generators, their power relays and air conditioning systems. Are other Bulwarks having similar teething issues, or did we just get the short end of the stick with our test pre-production model? If these problems are more widespread, it'd be a good idea to iron them out before we launch on the civilian market. Otherwise, we might overwhelm our repair and distribution teams and possibly tarnish our company's reputation. Cheers, Cassandra Whitley, Ship Master of the BCV Ontario, Bristol C&M. ![]() User ID: Jaina Wheeler Recipient: Bristol Constructions, Board Subject: Bulwarks, Technocracy, Starfliers . Good day, I was overseeing one of the last Bulwark test flights before we call the ship suitably tested. The goal was to pick up Galway Superstructure Systems In New London. There we encountered a Freelancer. The conversation was initially nothing out of the ordinary, the usual interest in our new ship and wanting to know the value of it. But it did turn interesting as the Freelancer not only saw the ship in Omicron Delta but flying Technocracy identifiers. I will attach the conversation for board perusal. This is most worrying, though something we should have foreseen of course, having had no prior contact with this Starfliers organisation. And I have clarified that it must be them after contacting all the companies who are holding Bulwarks at this time. As it was only Bristol Group members this was a swift task. And while the name "Bristol Bastard" is definitely distasteful, it is still flying under Ganister Demolitions. With the only craft ever sold out of our company being the Starfliers craft it can only have been them. While this would usually not a problem, a customer selling a craft we sold, in this case I do very much believe it is. Not only did they hand it to a group illegal in various houses against our negotiation terms, but they undermined the deal with Auxo we could have picked up at a later date. As discussed we'd wait with selling our flagship project to controversial groups until a certain market saturation would be reached. Starfliers is now taking that out of our hands. My conclusion is that this group is not just risking a major PR problem for us but they cost us very tangible values. The Auxo deal falling through permanently now means a loss of 2 million credits, 5000 Chiromaterials and 5000 cargo units of Azurite Gas. A wealth Akutan would have turned over swiftly, sharing their profit participation to the board. We cannot let them step over us like this. If a group that is advertising themselves as "unarmed" can just do this to us without any repercussions, we need to expect every group they work with to soon offer us underhanded deals. I am aware there is not all that much we can do directly but It must be made clear that we will not accept such treatment. Thank you and good bye. Transmission Ends

![]() User ID: CPT Booth, Hector, CO -BCV- Powhatan (LIB-BRI82021-V802) Recipient: Bristol Constructions, Board Subject: Veracruz Munitions Reactivation, Vespucci (21.11.834) . ALCON, During a memorial flight through the Vespucci system and Veracruz Graveyards, B|-BCV-Powhatan received a weak distress signal from station Veracruz Munitions. On landing, it was found that several damaged Zoner and Independent vessels had taken refuge in the wrecked station, unable to take the various jump holes out of the system to safety. While they had salvaged sections of the station to repair hull breaches, many of these vessels lacked critical materials to be spaceworthy through the Omega-55 jump hole. As such, B|-BCV-Powhatan rendered humanitarian aid with several supply runs in from the Magellan system for foodstuffs and material for ship and station repairs. I feel that these people deserve our continued support and indeed that Vespucci itself provides for Bristol a strong opportunity for further expansion. The unnumbered warships in system have crews who still remain, not repatriated to their governments or to Planet Veracruz herself, and these warships yet have an opportunity for either salvage or, for some, memorialization to the fallen. To this end, I have contacted CPT Stuart of the transport vessel Eryri to help in proper burial efforts while Veracruz Munitions itself is brought back into operational capacity. In addition, I advise that combat vessels be dispatched into Vespucci in order to ward off both Technocracy and Gaian vessels who doubtless will disagree with any operations, though understand if this is not practicable due to resources and system location. B|-BCV-Powhatan will, until such time that the station recovers into an operational status, keep in system. V/R CPT BOOTH, HECTOR -BCV- POWHATAN Transmission Ends

![]() User ID: CPT Booth, Hector, CO -BCV- Powhatan (LIB-BRI82021-V802) Recipient: Bristol Constructions, Board Subject: Veracruz Munitions Progress Report, Vespucci (24.11.834) . ALCON, Progress in Vespucci has thus far had mixed results. While we have had good success in establishing ourselves with local populations as a neutral, lawful authority, I feel the need to preface the following with this report. The transport vessel Eryri arrived 23.11.834 and immediately set to burial operations in support of ongoing Vespucci efforts. On 24.11.834, time 1426ST, while performing EVA operations in the vicinity of Hellfire Legion gunship Burnside Eryri crew triggered a partial power surge while attempting to access engineering station 2. This partial power surge engaged two light missiles, which failed to launch. At time 1427ST Eryri ordered immediate withdrawal of all EVA personnel, remaining on station at 200m to retrieve crews. Detonation of missile warheads occurred 1429ST, potentially due to self-destruct mechanisms or launch failure. I regret to report two personnel, Dann McCarr of Dublin and Sara Blythe of Leeds, killed by resulting debris. Neither have next-of-kin on record. The Eryri herself received no damage. An investigation is currently underway to determine any potential ways this tragedy could have been avoided. Despite this, CPT Stuart reports that his vessel will continue performing burial duties in the Veracruz Graveyard. I'm ready to report that good relations have been established with the Zoner population of the station. The majority seem happy with our presence on the station, especially as we've removed much of the imminent threat to their lives. Zoner Militant presence in the system is relegated to a portion of the population aboard Veracruz Munitions with no practicable patrols, and even these have been neutral with our activities. In an effort to solidify our standing on Veracruz Munitions station and clarify our position, communication has begun with Zoners leadership in control of the station. Repairs to the station itself have continued on with good progress. The following changes since the 15.05.834 Vespucci Survey are as follows:
Gaian encounters have been limited to sightings of smaller patrols throughout the Tijuana and Sonora Ice Fields. As these are smaller fighters clearly on patrol paths, I would judge that they have a base close by to monitor Vespucci events. Whether this is in the Sonora or close on the other side of the jump holes in Magellan or Kansas, I'm unsure, but I would generally hold that the Gaians have somewhere close to restock their craft. These patrols appear to pose a minor risk to Vespucci operations, though I'm less certain what surprises a nearby Gaian base could release. Due to their continued operations despite the prior presence of Liberty Navy capital ships, I judge that they have a bomber capacity, a very well hidden base, or likely both. Diplomatic resolution I consider not currently an option due to the total Gaian stance. Removing their presence to ensure uninterrupted Vespucci operations will likely be difficult and require major investment, as well as likely the utilization of a third party force. Technocracy vessel encounters have largely been limited to sightings in the Tijuana Ice Field in vicinity of the Magellan jump hole, with both avoiding Bristol vessels. These appear to be small traders with light patrols, and overall I do not consider their presence to be a major threat. What is concerning is that Technocracy convoys are moving up from the western portion of the Guerrero Asteroid Field, the opposite end from the Omega-55 jump hole. I would dispatch a vessel to investigate this, whether it is an unknown jump hole or the convoys are taking a long route through the asteroid field to avoid detection, but I lack the ships needed for such. I somehow doubt the latter as the convoys speed through the Tijuana field with exceptional disregard; Why sneak about the Guerrero and speed through the Tijuana? I consider the possibility of a yet unknown entry to Vespucci to be a moderate threat to Bristol operations in system, especially if the potential is there for other entities to enter the system aside from the Technocracy. While I don't trust them at all, there have been more rabid enemies before. Luxury Liner Barbados also presents a significant threat, though this is only due to its effect as effectively a Freeport in the area. System traffic is significantly higher than otherwise expected which likewise will likely create an increase in piracy should the liner continue operating in Vespucci. The system itself presents several key difficulties when combined with the currently limited resources available. These are:
This all said, a greater source of manpower will most certainly be necessary for full involvement by Bristol with salvation efforts in Vespucci. That I feel I cannot stress enough. I have good confidence in this effort, and in continued efforts in Vespucci once the clearing of the Veracruz Graveyard. V/R CPT BOOTH, HECTOR -BCV- POWHATAN Transmission Ends

![]() User ID: Booth, Hector, CO -BCV- Powhatan (LIB-BRI82021-V802) Recipient: Bristol Constructions, Board Subject: Unplanned Encounter (Hogosha - Kato.Maru) . ALCON, Be advised, it appears the Hogosha have started increasing their activity in the core Kusari systems and that our own activities in Galileo have begun having an effect. While in transit through New Tokyo on a Deuterium trade run, Hogosha frigate Kato.Maru disrupted the Shinagawa->Honshu Gate Trade Lane. Hogosha frigate proceeded to illegally halt B|-BCV-Powhatan. Cruise Disrupters were used to halt my vessel and Kato.Maru proceeded to 100m of B|-BCV-Powhatan. Information was requested on my transit before declaring that Bristol “causes havoc in the independent worlds for valued Kusari corporations without any form of respect for our people”. Kato.Maru continued on with what I think is their usual shpiel, trying to use my use of non-standard weapon configuration aboard B|-BCV-Powhatan-Weapons were forced to be replaced at an Edge Worlds station, previously- as excuse to demand 100,000 credits. As they were within clear weapons range, maneuvers to bring my own weapons to bear would cause their engagement, and the demanded amount was so entirely small I decided it would be best to pay the amount. Encounter then ended. Attachments for communications logs: (1) (2) (3) I understand that Bristol cannot take overt, clear action against Hogosha as a whole, as they are a “protected species” in Kusari space, but I feel as though these actions should be unacceptable in House space and that inaction on our part will simply embolden them. ![]() User ID: Booth, Hector, CO -BCV- Powhatan (LIB-BRI82021-V802) Recipient: Bristol Board Subject: Situation Developing in Vespucci . ALCON, I’m able to report the following developments. On 12.16.834, Shackleton patrol Fault-2 based from Tijuana Freeport, on a routine patrol of the Guerrero Asteroid Field, encountered a damaged, unpowered Judicator class vessel. The Judicator vessel has notable damage and has vented large amounts of chemicals into the local area, but is largely intact as far as reactor section, engines, and drum. Fault-2 notified station Veracruz Munitions and placed a navigation buoy for future reference. I felt that the opportunity to inspect and evaluate a largely intact vessel of this type to be extremely important and ceased commercial activity in Galileo, transiting to the Vespucci system. On 12.19.834, Powhatan arrived on station and we have begun EVA inspections of the interior systems as well as a more detailed exterior scan. I feel that such a vessel could, potentially, be reconstructed and refit for Bristol use. Even if that reconstruction proves infrasible with the more thorough inspection, I feel that salvaging such an intact vessel will prove far more convenient and streamlined than any other vessel currently in the system. As such, I have prioritized Shackleton efforts onto this vessel, as well as requested the arrival of the Eryri to the area for reclamation efforts. I intend to make periodic reports as more develops. ![]() User ID: Booth, Hector, CO -BCV- Powhatan (LIB-BRI82021-V802) Recipient: Bristol Board Subject: Situation Developing in Vespucci . ALCON, Initial inspections of the Judicator class vessel proved that, for the most part, she is far more intact than any other of her damaged kind. Flight deck sections are completely inoperable and collapsed due to fuel tank detonations and leakages of the fire suppression system which, in combination with other stowed gasses, have produced intense deterioration in the metal. This includes a midsection tank which was directly ruptured when a section starboard side, measuring approximately 12 m by 8 m, was completely torn open by presumably Liberty Navy weapons fire. Clean-up efforts are underway to remove the clouds of gas in that section and to clear the flight decks of all toxic chemicals. The vessel’s internal structure, however, appears to be relatively intact. I personally wouldn’t feel comfortable jumping her just yet, though. A more thorough examination of the spine of the ship is necessary. I’m pleased to report that due to the efforts of my Chief Engineer we have been able to restore the reactor aboard to a moderate level of power generation. He warns me, however, that placing too many stresses on the system will likely overload and cause a shutdown sequence. As a result, I anticipate that we will be limited, until such time as a proper drydock period can be commenced, to engines, shields, and of course the drum section itself. I’m told that commencing an engine burn without the drum in motion would cause extreme damage due to how the Insurgency built these ships up, though the exact reason why is somewhat beyond me. I anticipate next steps will be to commence attempts at lighting the engines and starting the drum, with the intended destination of Bristol Bay for close examination and possible restoration.
