RE: How to fix performance issues caused by rundll32.exe/gameux bug - NoMe - 06-26-2019 //to the patch specialist, it's just an idea but what about to create *a launcher patch* who fix definitively the problem? //to evanz, **Fuck it, I wasn't ready to change right away.** ![]() anti bad word is running RE: How to fix performance issues caused by rundll32.exe/gameux bug - Kazinsal - 06-26-2019 Possibly. I need to find/install a Windows 7 machine to see what the process tree for this actually looks like (ie. who starts the rundll32 process for gameux.dll and do we have access to it without needing to punch a SYSTEM or NT SERVICE process in the jaw) and to prototype and test with. Preferably, Microsoft either blasts out a hotfix for this, or people upgrade to an operating system that is supported, but I think the likelihood of the latter is even less than the former, and the former is unlikely unless someone can conclusively prove to Microsoft that this is actually a security issue. I'll try to fix it but y'all really need to stop running Windows 7. RE: How to fix performance issues caused by rundll32.exe/gameux bug - evanz - 06-26-2019 not running win 7 is not an option to me it works perfect for me, only issue was gameux for FL, since ive fixed that, ill carry on with my system that works no need to downgrade to win10 RE: How to fix performance issues caused by rundll32.exe/gameux bug - Karlotta - 06-26-2019 If its impossible to either make the launcher stop Freelance.exe from starting the gameux rundll32, or make it shoot down the problematic rundll32, maybe you can make it display a message about how to manually fix the problem if it notices that gameux is still active or its a win7 system. Many people play an old game like Disco because they dont have up-to-date computers or operating systems.
