Rheinland now is a dying Weimarer Republic which is dying under red hessian pressure on BSs.
There is only 2 ways:
1. Do the "Nazi" militarist usurpation of power in Rheinland. And smashing the socialistic movement. (not so good)
2. Do the history, where socialistic movement will win in Rheinland. And Rheinland will start grow like Soviet Union. And will try to help other worker movement(Mollys) in Bretonia for example. And Rheinland will have war with Bretonia\Liberty again. And Rheinland will be like a Soviet Union in game, only deutch (DDR). (i think this is much interesting) But i think many players have no clue about socialistic movement and worker rights.

But,nobody cares.

The Coalition are a Federal Socialist Republic, akin to communism. And the Red Hessians are Revolutionary Socialists. I don't think you know what an empire is Reptile.

No Nazi crap. Stop being dumb.

If we went by history, current Rheinland overthrew the imperial state due to how horrible it worked out for them. Nobody in Rheinland likes the imperial mindset. Look up the Popular Revolution if you want actual history and not just looking at real world examples to make your case.

As i said, you know nothing. Good luck.

I'm interested in having a story setting that's fun for everyone. I don't see how changing some names would achieve that.

Conspiracy theory: It is possible that someone is fed up with RheinGov and just wants to change stuff to have full power?

I think a discussion like this is a good idea in general to gauge the community's opinion, however a one line question with a poll is probably not the best way to go about story development.

Give us a more detailed description and let's have at it.

Yea, what will this actually do instead of just changing the official name? TBH I couldn't tell any difference between Imperial and Republic Kusari as a normal player, other than one had a civil war and the other didn't

The current Rheinland government is a largely homogeneous bloc of heavily overlapping factions so I can assure you that's not the case.

Reeves put it best, really.

This is true, for in terms of gameplay, the government change only did (and was only designed to) end a war and change some relations between kusari and other entities. Its when the players take that name change, and enact real changes on the way that matter is played, that you can really say there has been a difference. In the Kusari Republic, Real changes were some deference to Kishiro (not skillfully used by the faction), a divide on the naval forces who "favored change" and those who "kept the old ways", and a brief surge of political rp by a wide group of players of the house. Briefly.
(later restore of the empire served a purpose "like" the Republic, end a war and changing the name. No one as a player bothered to add something new upon that.)

If Rheinland changes name, I hope that the players bring about some meaningful changes, instead of we all just rely on a patch update to measure the difference between what's "now" and "then".
