This thread is about the community able to approve or deny important decisions. You said that's a coup and turned into a typical justifier of totalitarian regimes. Or someones? I like you imply there's cowardice in saying "this sucks we can get someone better" without specifying someone. And, given the moderation's track record, no, I evidently don't have the guts for this. We're currently dealing with a Carol II situation here, though. I see no problem with that, much less having a sense of self-preservation about it. RE: Devs require majority approval from community for major changes - Thunderer - 12-16-2019 If you are not prepared to aid a coup yourself, then you should not suggest that other people do it. You've gone from defending yourself to attacking character based on cherry-picked statements. You aren't helping your case much. Edit: Though, given your insistence: Anybody but Durandal. Effectively anyone who cares more than him. RE: Devs require majority approval from community for major changes - Thunderer - 12-16-2019 I am not attacking you, I asked you questions and you yourself answered them. I am not defending myself, but Discovery, which I believe another coup would destroy, having witnessed the damage the last one has done. Yes, because it's not like everything is on fire right now because of the current regime or anything. And also, if you weren't, then why was one of your posts effectively demonstrating that "I am a coward" despite the fact that, rather obviously, it was playing in your side of the court and in your phrasing. This is a useless discussion and you are arguing in defense of an incompetent government because you're afraid of possible change, as though we're not actively running like a hive of hornets because of the lack of positive change. |
