I really used the Drone, is pretty fast, fun and more important it can make fast run outs on any house it stands ...
Yes, it don't have SHF Specs, but, see, that AI Guns do Direct Uknown Damage ... so is pretty nice to see it ...
It could not be considered as a "Bomber" ... but his guns are not a joke, same speed (680m/s) plus some kind of bit outclassed damage, with nice agility
that is why is considered as a SuperHeavyFighter "Unique" Class Type ... because the ship is just fantastic, personally i should leave the ship as it is ...
Nice and Hybrid, probably buff the core just a bit to give it more "uniqueness" type

It will make it to the following patch after this upcoming patch release. Else, this patch that is very soon to come will be delayed once more to test and balance the AI Bomber.
