that cockpit kinda looks like someone stole a Liberator cockpit and modified it to fit a Rheinland hull

Many differences in mesh p.o.v
Take a look at the Rheinland LF? It's round more like a "truck" cabin but it is a Vanilla mesh iirc.
It is really complicated to make everyone happy. Some of you all want the squared cockpit while others dislike it and vice versa. I personally like the round cockpit because it gives a uniquely distinct silhouette versus other RM snub ships.

I'm not sure why a unique silhouette, which the ship already has, is justification for not giving the ship-line a more coherent identity and style. The cockpit is only a single part of the model and hardly makes the whole thing look exactly the same as a Wraith.
Also the rear end of the model is starting to look a bit disjointed now that it's been moved further back from the main hull section.
