Looking forward to join the fun today!

I know inRP it doesn't make much sense, but I feel like LPI should be included. Give police factions some love. Smile

Though the sheer level of cap camping for this event on the blue side is pretty ridiculous I will admit, i'm not even surprised seps/hellfire won't log against that.
I was logging my hellfire arbiter
But pebbles in Bering + ganks just made me give up
There' not even point getting people together, I'd get up to 6 with in-game RP in but then 12 libs will log and ruin the fun Sad

And now I just log armored smuggler and GB with cloak, it's pretty much just like any other day at West Point in peak times.
And just face up trade the route with a 5k off peak when there's no people

EDIT: Hey, this gave me an idea so I just don't complain like an ass

We could setup a very informal brawl within the even with cap on numbers of players
just through basic communication and no specific numbers
Any LN representatives think it's worth the bother reply here or shoot me a PM

I'd just say the time, ask Seps+Legion ppl to say they are in, then find some in-game that are logged, get a total number we have
and move on to pew

But I'd need lawfuls to guarantee me they'd only match the numbers we have for a fight next to maybe texas bering JH where there's no damn pebbles, nor sure they could keep the indies at bay to avoid swarming...It wouldn't be an unofficial forum event since a lot of in-game guys that log don't necessarily read those

This event is very similar to https://discoverygc.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=170635&highlight=unioner+event. But the Auxesians left half way through the event, i feel not many people are going to participate if we all get ganked alot at peak times. So if we can add the Rogues and Hackers just to fix the balance it would be appreciated.

Has it now come to the point that people will only get involved if they get paid?

Rogues, LHs and a few more all have a ZOI within the Event's Boundaries. Can't they just get involved for the RP value or just having fun?

incentive, that's what gets people going.

RE: [Regional event] The Scouring of Bering - Skorak - 05-27-2020

To be fair to me the scoreboard is much cooler than getting paid. Though that's nice too.

And isn't it in a Game incentive enough to go out have some fun?

It has been become a sad state of affairs that, 'we need to be rewarded to play'.

RE: [Regional event] The Scouring of Bering - Hemlocke - 05-27-2020

The only reason Rogues being added to this would make any sense at all is because we aided Harmony and Hellfire against the Concord battlegroup already, I don't think any Hackers actually showed up for Skorak's events but I could be mistaken.

Though considering Hellfire/Seps have very few indies and hardly any official bois (at least in comparison to the blue bois), and the blue bois have a ton of official bois and indies, this event could've been thought through a tad more.

Also the fact that Indie Pirate ID has kill bonus on people makes little sense, because unfortunately, the indie Pirate ID has no engagement lines, so even if they pirate the guys invading bering, they'd have to hope they don't pay a reasonable demand of 1mil in a fighter for trespassing and wait for a gank squad to show up.

I don't enjoy sh*tting on events, because I really enjoy the time and work put in by the staff, but this event just... you can't do anything with Hellfire and Seps like this, slotted events are the only thing that will work because there just isn't enough of them to do anything with.

As a side note to this, Xenos also did roleplay regarding this (more than Rogues did) and they didn't end up in this event either. Though considering it's aimed specifically at Hellfire and Seps, and if you added Xenos and Rogues, nobody would log Hellfire and Seps, just like now, I understand why they did the things they did.

So in summary, they had jack sh*t to work with here and tried to make a good event, that didn't end up being that great. stuff happens, I'm thankful they're even giving us events, helping keep the server alive, old staff gave one like what.... every 5 months? (Exaggeration I know but it wasn't bi-weekly)

Staff just didn't have a lot to go with considering Seps and Hellfire are dead, bland and highly uninteresting factions with no appeal, which also makes it hard for their official groups to attract players. Vanilla factions, best factions.
