RE: De-Re-Naming - Mephistoles - 06-09-2020 The New York system was originally named the Manhattan system. It was changed somewhere down the line but the planet's name didn't come along for the ride. Now seriously: the more neutral system names, the merrier. That would leave a space for factions to rename systems in own RP, messages and in general to annoy their enemy. Like... what Exeter? RE: De-Re-Naming - Save My Soul - 06-09-2020 Oh, after how many years will you change this names again? You mean planet New New York in the New New York system? xD It's not like they kept up with the theme themselves since while London, Berlin and Tokyo are capital cities, New York is not. RE: De-Re-Naming - Reno - 06-09-2020 Yes, finally som common sense around here. Rename them back how it was. https://youtu.be/FQRW0RM4V0k Reno RE: De-Re-Naming - Thyrzul - 06-09-2020 It'd be common sense if it wouldn't require a vote because it would be 100% vs 0% anyways. That's apparently not the case though, so try to learn not overusing that term when it's not applicable, kthxbai.
RE: De-Re-Naming - Cat - 06-09-2020 Regardless of what happens, my Bretonian characters still call Aquitaine Edinburgh. Just like my Gauls and freelancers call Exeter Omega-49. And vice versa. But regardless of what my Gallic characters think about Exeter, Bretonia seems to be there for good. Just like the Enclave seems to be in Aquitaine, Roussillon and Brittany for good. It would be weird to have the Enclave's capital in a Bretonian-named system (I'm ok with the name Gaia though). That's why I voted for keeping the current names.
RE: De-Re-Naming - Groshyr - 06-09-2020 Shall you rename Roussillon back to Tau-115? |
