Nomad Indies. - MB52 - 03-27-2009 Indeed, some other form of ID would be nice, as there are others who do have great ideas of how nomads can be RPed (like zapp) and the keeper ID or trial ID in this case really doesn't work. Only sold on the Guard Station in Bastille and the Lost Battlestar in Delta, though, so definitely admin-granted at best. I can see why it wouldn't be made available, but if it's there, and there's a need, and the player is known to be responsible enough along with having good enough RP to handle it... Well, I honestly can't see why it couldn't be given out in exceptional circumstances. Das Wilde = Primarily ex-Rheinland pilots based out of Omegas 55 and 58. They also manage undercover operations in House Rheinland. The Wild = Infested humanity. There are different names for the other branches based in the other houses. Not unlike how the Farmer's Alliance ID covers the Artisan Farmer's Alliance, for example. The ID and IFF used by Das Wilde are "The Wild"; if other groups get represented playerwise they will use the same ID/IFF and have a different name prefix instead of "Wilde.PLAYERNAME". The comparison with the Keeper/Nomad situation is that the Nomad ID more or less aligns with the Wild ID in terms of scope, while the Keeper ID would match up with a Das Wilde ID if one existed. Moving both to general and using name prefixes to specify as we already do (such as Keepers. or Wilde. or... something I can't tell you about that would illustrate this perfectly) seems like a rather solid idea to me. |
