RE: SEO| Sirius Entsorgung - Report Center - Barrier - 12-29-2023 ![]() SENDER: Oliver Manz, Sicherheitschef RECIPIENT: Board of Directors LOCATION: Belvedere Refinery, New London SUBJECT: Kusari and Bretonia route updates ENCRYPTION: Medium Guten tag, mein damen und herren.
I've finished my circuit of independent warehouses, and unfortunately I don't have any good news. Platinum refineries are open in Shikoku and Galileo, but they are out of stock and have been for weeks. The diamond offloading point at Tsukishima is still the best source of the material, and they know it too based on their sneers. Regarding gold, it more of the same, with installations even shutting down their refining operations. I believe that Sirius Technology Center may still have some stockpiles, but the warehouse master wasn't interested in providing me with specific numbers. However, both it and Ulster have stopped production for the time being, likely due to the increased Molly presence at the source and the jump hole blockade. Regards, Oliver Manz

They seemed to have ran out of aluminium needed for the construction of their hyperdrives. Since most personnel was spend on the Karlsruhe clean-up here, I decided to do the trip. It has been a while since I did my last delivery. It sure was... nostalgic. Below you can find the delivery of 5000 units of aluminium. I gave my regards to the folks of Elcano and departed back to Wuppertal Refinery with base supplies from Liberty. As you are no doubt aware, the board and myself have been discussing changes to our operating procedures after the failure of incorporation we suffered in Rheinland. I now announce the outcome of our discussions: we are going independent. Legally speaking, we may now be considered Freelancers in all but name. We will still have ties with our old partners at ALG and other entities, and we will continue to honor existing contractual obligations. However, in order to fulfill these effectively, you will need to be familiarized with the new equipment and vessels you will be operating from here on out. Therefore, all existing personnel will meet at Wuppertal Refinery for an orientation, dated a week from this announcement. Before this time, I will take any questions or concerns you have about this change. If you choose to part ways with SEO due to this announcement, I assure you of a competitive severance package, and my personal best wishes for your future. Mit freundlichen Grüßen, Adam Linhardt

I have recently completed the full inspection of Roppongi Station interior. Thanks to Herr Linhardt's initiative and Kapitan Rottmanner's skills, my job was substantially easier due to their preliminary footage and scans. I believe my report will clarify the scale of the clean-up, but the essential internal assumptions generated based on the original report are basically correct. The Alderhaben arrived on scene on 4/5/834 AS, and immediately proceeded to perform a number of structural integrity assessments. Fortunately, the structure of the station is sound. Certain areas show minor ablation, but on the whole the station poses little risk of collapse over the course of the clean-up. Additionally, salvaging efforts can proceed according to existing blueprints without any substantial modifications, which should greatly reduce planning time at that stage of the clean-up. After the structural assessment, the Alderhaben dropped off my waste disposal team at various key locations. If you are worried about their health, don't be - they were wearing the maximum rated protective suits, which substantially impeded their progress but was indeed necessary when passing various internal leaks and ruptures. The provision of admin-level overrides and blueprints from Interspace Commerce have substantially sped up the process of navigating the structure. I remained on the Alderhaben to oversee their progress and continue my discussion with the Hogosha vessel, which I will get to shortly. Though the progress of my men and women through the station was slow and in some cases impeded by debris, we have essentially managed to map out most internal areas over the course of the next week. Floor by floor radiological survey data is attached, but to be honest, does not pose much interest to external clean-up operations. I recommend forwarding this to the Kusari authorities for further investigation about the accident. Most of the lower levels are completely irradiated, and this has propagated to various exit points around the station via the life support and refueling systems. Besides these hot-spots, much of the interior is recoverable - it may be prudent to send in teams to grab any high-value gear before beginning large-scale demolition. Now, let's talk about zis Hogosha individual. Right after beginning scans, I was accosted by a gunship named Kuroi.Kiri. Its kapitan proceed to inquire about the clean-up, almost as if they already knew that there are discussions about us getting the contract. When I confirmed that I was performing inspections for the clean-up, the kapitan offered to provide SEO with a workforce on the cheap. As you can see from the logs, I encouraged him that this is a good idea. We have plenty of lighter-weight protection for the scavengers that go after any gear on the inside, and I'm sure Eupen will not mind the influx of temporary workers. You know my requirements for rotation, so I will not mention them here. Vorzitsender Linhardt, I urge you to consider zis proposal - but I understand that your hands may be tied by Kusari law in this matter. I am willing to travel to Kabukicho to meet with zis kapitan or another representative, as they seem to be eager and willing to do business, based on a communication I received recently. Read the comms log below, and let me know your decision, and I'll let them know how things stand. With the inspection complete and already a potential source of workers in Kusari, I believe we are all but ready to begin the next stage of the clean-up. The station will need to be moved into higher orbit, and at least four hazard buoys will need to be places around the area. Alderhaben will be returning to Leeds to continue operations there, but I can be back on short notice for any additional assessment, and to meet with the Hogosha. My current estimates for the materiel storage requirements are upwards of 200,000-300,000 units of Toxic Waste, and 100,000-150,000 units of slag and other scrap metals. I am sure a further analysis will result in a more precise range, but I don't doubt Eupen and nearby warehouses in Kusari are more than capable of processing this volume, given adequate support. After additional negotiations with Samura Heavy Industries, it has been decided that they will provide the necessary infrastructure for the Roppongi clean-up operation. The responsibilities of each corporation have been previously outlined, but may be subject to change, pending their review by the Kusari Ministry of Economy & Industry. However, this does mean that the relocation of Eupen Handelsplatz will not occur as planned. My existing contacts at Wichter have made SEO a different offer regarding the station. Due to the remote location of the station, material and supply concerns are at the forefront of the administrators' many concerns. While Freeport 8 can supply this demand from time to time, they cannot guarantee longer-term contracts due to the transitional nature of Zoner population density. On the other hand, Eupen has been rebuilt with self-sufficiency in mind, and producing surplus is only a matter of scale. Eupen Handelsplatz will instead be proceeding to Sigma-15, in order to work on dismantling the Rho jump gate debris for raw materials, and providing additional hydroponic volume for Wichter station. While the system has possessed a certain reputation in the past, the current jump re-alignment has relegated it to a much quieter zone than even a year previously. Additionally, Planet Hammersee of the Federal Polizei, and Festung Grauerort of the Militar will provide adequate security for future operations. I hope to continue to rely on your skills and expertise in the times ahead. Mit freundlichen Grüßen, Adam Linhardt

In my concurrent role as Bauleiter, I have proceeded with the necessary arrangements for the relocation of Eupen. I had originally planned to use the same company we employed for Koecphen's relocation some years prior, but it seems they have been subsumed under the Imperial umbrella. While my previous contacts have by the most part moved on, our existing reputation should result in no shortage of available tugs. I will be ensuring that Eupen is locked down tight, and that all excess materials have been shipped off. Any current shortages can be refilled from Freeport 8, once we arrived at the new destination. The fabrication and refining equipment, as well as the hydroponics set up have all been put on standby. The caretaker crew know their business, but my vessel will stay moored to the station for the duration of the move for extra safety. You will all receive regular updates about the operation on the regular internal channels. Mit freundlichen Grüßen, Adam Linhardt
