RE: Announcement: House Governments - Lemon - 10-25-2023 Also who the hell will do licences and such - staff? Or is that getting somewhat reworked so there's less admin stuff or can licences be delegated to more people RE: Announcement: House Governments - SnakThree - 10-25-2023 ![]() Curious, if staff will be pushing their own agenda into this or will actually let players decide things and just slightly supervise to not do anything stupid. At least nothing as stupid as some staff members did, do or will do in the future and answer to absolutely noone for it. Explicilty by following your line of logic. Either you force someone else to take leader position, against their will or time or ability. Which is sub-optimal. Or You have a leader that is gone or unable to represent their faction, not have representation in gov and as thus defacto making the faction "unofficial" by virtue of not having a voice. EDIT: Admittedly, the current solution isn't great, but it works, and it seems to work just fine. If there is cases of abuse that is the reason for concern, staff should take action ON A INDIVIDUAL BASIS, dealing will abuse case by case. RE: Announcement: House Governments - James Greed - 10-25-2023 RE: Announcement: House Governments - Lord Helmchen - 10-25-2023 Interesting. But i have a Question? I am leader of OS&C thats a Inter House faction wit Dealings in all Houses. How are Interhoudr Factions like Mine Treated in this Stuff? Because as it is right Now we are Not Represented anywhere. I ask because for Example Cortez (Orbitals Main System) is a Joint Protectorate of both Liberty and Bretonia. Does that mean we are Part of both LibGov and BretGov? RE: Announcement: House Governments - SnakThree - 10-25-2023 Also, players can say goodbye to lightning fast votes like we do in LibGov, to provide quick responses to people reaching out to us. In addition to that, if either the 1ic or 2ic of a faction isn't able to take up that spot (reduced activity for example) they should have the ability to be replaced with a faction representative instead after their written agreement.I disagree about Lib Gov, it did feel arbitrary often, they are why the OF has to have representation was introduced in the first place when they excluded LIA RE: Announcement: House Governments - Lemon - 10-25-2023 (10-25-2023, 09:19 PM)SnakThree Wrote: Also, players can say goodbye to lightning fast votes like we do in LibGov, to provide quick responses to people reaching out to us.this I don't get - licence system - won't it be super slow now? Can it be even kept at current form? What about gov run bounty boards? Where's the manpower if just 1iCs can do it and staff have to approve everything OO Govs were biased, flawed, arbitrary and went against lore at times, almost every single one - but they got the job done where it mattered: Licences |
