Can the Navy attack a zoner in alaska ? - masternerdguy - 07-09-2009 definately, "all non navy vessels will be neutralized on sight":yahoo: Can the Navy attack a zoner in alaska ? - FraserTE - 07-09-2009 Dab I might be a pain but im going to agree with you on this. Problem 1 U gota make the minefield big enough for the lns-thunderbolt to maneuver seeing as how big that carrier is.. 2. Who says the hole has to be near the gate u can easily make it 10k+ or so not even near it. 3. I suggest putting a navy guard stationary battleship on the liberty side give them nommies something to dodge when they decide to come over. 4. Why hasnt this been done already ? 5. If this is done the corsairs need will need to establish somebody else who will buy artifacts seeing as how the route will be impossible. otherwise taking the long way nobody will do it not enough profit or increase the profit severly. Can the Navy attack a zoner in alaska ? - skaterpro0 - 07-09-2009 LN ID should say the have the right to destroy anyone going trough Alaska. Can the Navy attack a zoner in alaska ? - casero - 07-09-2009 It does. If your ID doesn't allow you to enter lawfully the alaska system, there could be RP consecuences. Can the Navy attack a zoner in alaska ? - skaterpro0 - 07-09-2009 Well, like many people suggested, there should be a Navy Guard Battleship equiped for annihilation near the New York JG. Can the Navy attack a zoner in alaska ? - JakeSG - 07-09-2009 Yes, yes, and oh, sweet god, yes. I'd have personally torp'd your weapons off and let you pay for a new set if I found you trying to abuse Zoner Rep. Besides, Order let you through their side? Sounds like they owe you some favors. Them being our enemies and all, that ain't going to sound good in a court of law, if you make it that far. Edit: As for the Battleship: 1. Reps can be abused/altered. 2. Before somebody says 'Guard' rep, see 1. 3. As has been said before, adding anything more to New York causes the server to crash. Doubleedit: Oh my god... I'm not sure whether to laugh or cry from the inhuman amount of idiocy here... Corsairs don't even know that Zone 21 exists. Some may know that Alaska is there, and a few may have seen the gate. But not even the Order, the closest allies of Corsairs and labelled terrorists by the Liberty government will not risk the civilian lives by telling the Corsairs of its existence. The Order are a military organisation, the Corsairs are criminals. As for it 'cutting profit in half', perhaps you should try making your own route instead of using FL Companion? Not only is it ooRP, annoying and stupid to use Zone 21/Alaska as a powertrading shortcut, the next best route to the same place only takes three minutes longer on the outside and is much less risky, both concerning being busted with illegal goods and being shot down by the law for being clinically brain dead. Tripleedit: ... I'm dying inside... The further back I read, I lose a little more hope in humanity... Alaska is not a smuggling route. It is not intended for smuggling, both inRP and ooRP. The -only- organisations who have access to that gate are the Order and the Navy/LSF. That place is full of NPCs, and both the Order and Liberty Lawfuls will stop you if they find you with contraband. If you are flying through there, using it as a smuggling route with neutral NPCs, then going 'olol i can smuggle tru it becuz no players stop me', then I guess what you are doing is ooRP rep abuse, because there are Navy/LSF there. NPCs count, they simply cannot do a thing because of game mechanics. Can the Navy attack a zoner in alaska ? - Baltar - 07-09-2009 Hit F8 ... click on the Zoner infocard ... read the ally list ... whoops ... seems Zoners are allies with Order. Welp ... you were a Zoner close to your ally (and ... ahem ... Liberty enemy) ... the Order. Can the Navy attack a zoner in alaska ? - Sprolf - 07-09-2009 Read Jake's post again. And if you require more explanation, which I hope you don't: Zoners' "allies" are by nature very loose, since Zoners are supposed to have no allegiances. And there is no way that the Order would share classified intel with a bunch of loose-cannon space hippies like the Zoners. Plus, it's restricted. Zoners wouldn't haul through restricted areas, as this is in blatant violation of their "neutral" RP. Can the Navy attack a zoner in alaska ? - Walker - 07-09-2009 TONS of stuff are allied with other factions Baltar... But the RH don't tell their allies stuff, you don't see the Outcasts giving the RHA access to their Guard Systems and etc... Or sharing their equiptment. I doubt that the Zoner's would have the knowledge that Alaska exists, and if they do the LSF will probaby trace it back to them, and go after the Zoners as a whole, and I doubt Malaclypse will like that... How about we play a game of dance, you stop using the excuse that Zoners are allies with the Order and have access to Order Secrets - And I wont have the LSF hunt zoner's down for treachery, treason, and espionage... Which is all pretty much defined as you use such an excuse. Can the Navy attack a zoner in alaska ? - Hawkwings - 07-09-2009 What? An excuse for my LSF to shoot Zoners? Hallelujah, it's a good day today! "Zoner, halt! You are guilty of being an ally of the Order and are subject to immediate termination." "lololololz im nutral" Blue message. Yes please to making the NY side of the minefield a maze. The Alaska side can be mine-less. I don't know if the stationary Guard battleship is a good idea. Reps can be tweaked and this makes fleas getting to the far systems much harder. Not that that's necessarily a bad thing. |
