I guess people do stare at the bottom while I leave my browser on the last clicked link for almost the entire day without touching it. I was linked this thread in the moderator chat, and haven't read it until just now.

' Wrote:I vote for unlocking the thread, add a NSFW thingy in the tittle, and post Ecchi pics as links.

And here's my opinion. If you feel that a thread might need a NWS/NSFW tag, then it probably doesn't belong here. There are many, many, many, many, many, many... other places on the internet that this is appropriate. Please take this there, rather than sharing your collection of images on these boards. These are Freelancer boards, people.

As a note; I wasn't involved in the decision to close that thread (I think, I am terribly forgetful), but as you can see... I'm not going to support any motion to open it up again.

Like Angelfire's thread.

Have a nice day.

I wonder how people manage to tell if asian girl is 12 or 22, they all look alike.

Then let us remove the link to the Cyrodiil Forums and General Gaming.
If this is the case as well then all non-freelancer related topics should be closed and locked.

Also, Angelfire's thread needs closed as it's showing relatively scantily clad woman, wearing less clothes than the anime folks were, in suggestive positions.
There are minors here after all. Should they presume that all women are like that?

Sorry, I'll stop complaining and go back to the game where we like to horribly slaughter one another with energy weapons whilst psychotic nutjobs roam around destroying entire planets and committing genocide.

Lister: D'ya think Wilma's sexy?

Cat: Wilma Flintstone?

Lister: Maybe we've been alone in deep space too long, but every time I see that body, it drives me crazy. Is it me?

Cat: Well, I think in all probability, Wilma Flintstone is the most desirable woman that ever lived.

Lister: That's good. I thought I was going strange.

Cat: She's incredible!

Lister: What d'ya think of Betty?

Cat: Betty Rubble? Well, I would go with Betty... but I'd be thinking of Wilma.

Lister: This is crazy. Why are we talking about going to bed with Wilma Flintstone?

Cat: You're right. We're nuts. This is an insane conversation.

Lister: She'll never leave Fred, and we know it.

The hypocrisy was evident from the moment they locked the thread.

I have put forth my counter-points, now we shall watch them be ignored.

I can think of one REALLY good reason why those threads remain here.

Igiss wants them - and he trumps everyone else. So they stay, end of story.

I freely admit I'm not an anime fan. However, from a legal perspective, just because it's on the internet does not mean that it's necessarily legal in ALL countries. Drawings and pictures of what are considered cute girls in one country can be considered child pornography in another - and possession of those pictures on your computer can result in long terms behind bars (or worse). So while I personally don't have any objections to what was posted (other than my general problem with anime), from the broader perspective, locking and probably invising the whole thread is probably best.

If you want to go find that stuff out there - it's pretty darned easy. Don't bring it in here.

The only illegal content, in terms of the anime world, is hentai and lolicons.

When it was spotted, we asked that it be removed. It was removed. (No hentai was posted, so I am talking about the lolicon pictures that were posted.)

If you are going to apply the rules to certain topics and not others, why the hell do we even claim to have a fair Admin or Moderator system?

We try to maintain a fair system. However, since this is a PRIVATELY OWNED forum - that means, quite frankly, that the guy that pays the bills gets to make the rules. Free speech is NOT a right here, it is a privilege. I'm sorry if that bit of plain speak offends you, but that's the way the cookie crumbles, the ball bounces, and all the other cliche's go regarding things that you have no control over. Deal with it, and move on.

And noob, I'd rather be safe than sorry. The models in Angelfires thread and in the lamp picture are obviously over 18. I've seen wonky court decisions in the past - and I have a masters degree in criminology.
