Of course they look like squids! The Order spends a large portion of the time fighting squids! Thats a big influence right there.

How about you make them all single barreled but that the gunboat barrel is 2x smaller than the cruiser barrel and that the cruiser barrel is 2x smaller that the battleship barrel?

They look just to massive for Order ships but otherwise very nice job! :yahoo:

What i'm trying to do is take the current weapon effects used by the order turrets, and recolor them blue and black - to match the general hue of the order fighter weapons (death's hands and reapers are both blue colored). So the projectile shape wont change, but the color will.

I'd also like to change the engine effects on Order capships, so that all of them use the pulse-style engine of the Osiris, with a slight blue tint to it.

Ok, two things here - first up, do you think the guns look better with the grey lining inbetween the layered front section, or with blue lining - comparison pics below:

Second thing, I managed to change part of the projectile effects for the Order battleship and cruiser turrets to blue/teal, but they still turn yellow at a distance (need to figure out how to change that, any suggestions?) and I cant find the Order gunboat turrets in the files anywhere, what's the nickname used for them?
