Apocalypse Assault Wing - current status - TheMillers - 10-17-2009 This thread leads no where, except towards increased animosity amongst players. I have suggested that the current available (as in not yet killed and destroyed) Apocalypse vessels, take the current situation ad notam, and use it as a learning experience. Gather your forces, protect your severely disabled flagship, the Apocalypse_Now, stay away from engagements as much as you can, run, hide above or beneath the plane, and last but not least ROLEPLAY in system while you are running. In other words, act like a small force of renegades on the run and PROVE to the community that you can and will roleplay. Even if that means not getting a blue kill message during each online session. Give the other people in the community the chance to see that you actually can improve. Give the other people in the community the chance to try and hunt you while roleplaying with you, even if that means you need to give in to the terms of currently hostile factionleaders. Give the other people in the community the chance to see that your reputation as lolwutting capraidpewpewwhores are a thing of the past, if you really want to keep the Apocalypse group together. Contrary to popular belief, the factionleaders of the Guild, the Order, and the Zoners are reasonable people. If you show that you are redeeming yourself, they might even intervene on you behalf. Just realise it won't happen quickly. Get the best out of the situation which you have managed to provoke by previous actions, instead of whining in the hope of being able to get back to the status quo prior to the RP intervention of the admins. You, the Apocalypse group are in a quite unique situation right now : YOU can decide whether your ships will be lost forever, or be used to redeem yourself. Think it over guys... Just look at the vote on the poll - A poll initiated by you, with questions phrased by you, to garner support for your cause - So far over 3 quarters of the voters has NOT suppoorted you - That has got to give you a clue. Oh, and IBTL Apocalypse Assault Wing - current status - Elektrik - 10-17-2009 I was giving an example..religion came first to my head..don`t get it personal... My "LEADER" (even I wouldn`t say leader...we had another type of command chain if I can call it that way) ..has its right to defend himself.... I am here speaking in my name...or I could say in the name of Apoc wing... I comment only what I saw and heard... I don`t defend him for some sanction he got...thats his job to do...because i have nothing to do with it... Tell us your opinion about this matter as I am telling mine, everything you said by now has came from others people words... Apocalypse Assault Wing - current status - yurineova - 10-17-2009 ' Wrote:I was giving an example..religion came first to my head..don`t get it personal...You want my opinion? Ok. Overthrow your current leader and put someone more competent in charge. Then, work your bums off to fix diplomatic relations. I suggest you talk with hostiles first, such as gallic, SCRA, or mercenary forces. Apocalypse Assault Wing - current status - Agmen of Eladesor - 10-17-2009 As the Guildmaster that tried the hardest to redeem Apocalypse_Now in game, I simply have this to say to all the members of the Apocalypse wing. Read the rules of operation of the BHG|Core. It is in our rules of operation that we do not operate or group with indies. (And yes, I know sometimes individual members, especially those who aren't active in Skype much, if at all, have done that. When we find out, we chastize or deal with the situation away from the forums - we don't need to add to the drama here.) We are an official faction, with official ownership of the system Omega-56. This also means that we do have all the rights and responsibilities of an official faction, as listed at http://discoverygc.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=21888. Please note VERY carefully right number 2. Quote:RIGHT 2) Official factions have authority over players of the same NPC affiliation, as long as RP justification is provided. This authority applies in forums and in-game, and applies to player faction diplomacy, and strategic and tactical direction. However, exercise of that authority, on the forums and in game, is restricted to official faction members with the rank of the official faction leader and one rank below him/her. The authority may be exercised through the use of in-game in-RP orders, which, if not obeyed, can result in in-game in-RP consequences (arrest, court martial, and even "lethal" force in extreme circumstances). Official Factions cannot, under any cicrumstances, require another player to follow non-canon RP if that player doesn't want to. At ALL times RP justification was provided for all orders given to the initial Apocalypse wing. At ALL times, these orders were strictly in line within the limits of the Guild Guard ID. At ALL times, these orders were given by either the official faction leader or one rank below him. (Meaning for those of you who may actually be new to the forums, Athenian (Graves), Tic (Jones), or myself (DeVirgo). The Guild Guard is a quasi-military force, as has been defined by the ID and the role play. Now, read the rest of it... The authority may be exercised through the use of in-game in-RP orders, which, if not obeyed, can result in in-game in-RP consequences (arrest, court martial, and even "lethal" force in extreme circumstances). Elektrik, you asked what you'd done. There you go. So now - yeah, welcome to those consequences... Now,to switch hats a minute. Many of you recently started your forum accounts, based upon whatever reasoning you may have had at the time that your account would tie in with your character. (You know who you are.) Here's an offered deal - the same one I was offering Kurtz. Lose the Apocalypse tag. Those ships are valuable Core resources in our war with the Order. You may even have to downsize for a while. That won't be too much of an imposition on you - apparently you powertraded enough to get those cap ships in the first place. Apply for probationary status here. http://discoverygc.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=34165 . Show a little humility, accept the demotions as if it were a real court martial, and guess what? You may get accepted back in to the community. And in the meantime, you may actually learn how a faction that has pulled the Bounty Hunter rep out of the sewer and septic tank that the DW put it in operates. There's a reason we have 40 plus memebers, and nearly 200 combat ships total available. Quote: We expect members to play the role of a bounty hunter in a manner that reflects the stated aims and character of the faction. We operate all over Sirius so we expect to encounter many diverse factions. Suitable RP in-game is a must. Repeated out of roleplay behaviour and you are out. Apocalypse Assault Wing - current status - Turkish - 10-17-2009 Before you ask if you were treated fairly, ask yourself if you were treating us fairly. Apocalypse Assault Wing - current status - Elsdragon - 10-17-2009 Thou Hath Reaped What thou hath Sown, Mayhap In the Vision of hindsight thou wilt find thy Mistakes. Apocalypse Assault Wing - current status - Red_Bull - 10-17-2009 You did better off when it was just you. Nuff said. Apocalypse Assault Wing - current status - Sprolf - 10-17-2009 We're just going to say one thing. We Monkeys voted Yes. And No. We also laugh in the face of your powergaming us, as no one in their right minds would take in a resource hungry fleet of battleships that are hated and hunted by everyone around them. That's like standing in the middle of a field hugging lightning bolts with a crowbar in the air. Oh. And bananas do not grow on Primus. Signed, Despotic King of all Monkeys Apocalypse Assault Wing - current status - darthbeck - 10-17-2009 My advice, is to surrender to the core. At this point, i think that that would be the best thing that you can do. I would say more, but i wont. Apocalypse Assault Wing - current status - reavengitair - 10-17-2009 I didn't have much of an impression of you until I harrassed you with missiles and then you came right outside freeport (breaking the rules, you can't engage someone after you flee) and blasted me with cerberuses >.> Yes - No. |
