Hispanians - Dirae - 11-29-2009 I like this idea. It will bring much needed variety to the Omicrons. It would be great if you succeeded in convincing a few Corsairs to join your cause. A group of pilots from both camps, flying Outcast & Corsair fighters, would certainly rise a few brows, but it would also be a great contribution to the Omicrons RP. As you said, Andre, sometimes it's too one dimensional up there. Hispanians - Jose Benitez - 11-29-2009 I must admit to liking the general principle, however the opportunity to abuse the normally allowable weapons/ships etc would be huge if Corsairs started to join with Corsair equipment. I'd also like to add that the Corsair/Outcast "establishment" would still be likely to view the Hispanians as either criminals (from the Outcast perspective) or "fringe Outcasts" from the Corsair perspective. Either way they will be shot at by the mainstay of those groups. The opportunities for some interaction between Indies of either side and Hispanians is huge though - although Indies found consorting with the "enemy" may have some explaining to do? I think it might be a fun thing to take forward and see how it goes - although I'd urge caution with regard to allowable weapon types and allowable ship types should the time arrive when Corsairs start to join up. As you said, Andre, sometimes it's too one dimensional up there.Well, I agree with you on most points. However, this is NOT a group of pilots from both camps. If I get my way, there will be a seperate, allied Corsair faction, and the way things are looking with the Hermanos del Muerte, that might just end up happening, which would make me happy. And you're right. It is that same one-dimensionality that I hope to stab the heart of with this faction. Too long has House Hispania been limited to two factions. We'll be doing a lot of propagandizing ingame when we can, even as far as recruitment. Thank you. Hispanians - DarthCloakedGuy - 11-30-2009 I'm thinking of adding the Honshu, Kyushu, and New Tokyo systems to our ZoI for purposes of accessing the Taus. Thoughts? Hispanians - Chico - 11-30-2009 Not sure about Theta as part of your zone of influence. Why did you decide to include it? Hispanians - DarthCloakedGuy - 11-30-2009 ' Wrote:Not sure about Theta as part of your zone of influence.Well, there's a freeport in Theta, for one, so supplies are good. And it's as close as we can get to the Corsairs. Basically, we'll be using that space mainly to interact with Corsairs, and spread the word of brotherhood. Hispanians - VenomHX - 11-30-2009 It's nice.. But I doubt peace would ever happen. Nonetheless though, this does not by any means say that there wouldn't be smaller factions trying to work towards peace. I like it. Hispanians - DarthCloakedGuy - 11-30-2009 ' Wrote:It's nice.. (Besides, if Outcasts and Corsairs were to work together, Sirius would become a very scary place.) Hispanians - jammi - 11-30-2009 ' Wrote:Go to Eltmann Outpost, in Munich.Really Andre, look here. He didn't say it for no reason.:P |
