The Freeport Santa Run : Get them X-mas commodities to Manhattan - Kazinsal - 12-22-2009 I agree with Mike, let's do it a bit later. Maybe do something else earlier in the morn. I want to escort a starflea in a gunboat. THAT's something you don't see every day. The Freeport Santa Run : Get them X-mas commodities to Manhattan - Aurigae - 12-22-2009 How much will the new added commodities cost? I'd like to see the price when I'll get to planning how much should I spend on a ship that I could grab on the way. Nothing stops you from escorting a Starflea with a Gunboat. You don't need an event for that. Actually if more people did stuff like that regularly, the New York system might have a better reputation, and less parking tickets would be issued at Planet Manhattan. And the timeslot stands for several reasons, both server related as well as personal reasons. I'm in Europe where we celebrate X-mas on the 24'th in the evening. I've also tried to place the slot at a time where the server won't be overloaded, and still give people on other continents a chance to participate without disrupting their lives too much. If you can't/won't get up that early, then there's nothing to be done about it. It just means you loose the chance for winning credits, winning a BH Destroyer, having a screenshot of some very special commodities in your cargo hold, and having fun at the same time. Can an escort for example transfer you some items but not cash? Any limits that may be there on the ships within the price range? The Freeport Santa Run : Get them X-mas commodities to Manhattan - Jeremy Hunter - 12-22-2009 When does this start? The time date and whatnot I cant find due to the fact I cant upgrade the internet on this comp from 6 to 8 for some stupid reason (not comp trouble) and freaking converting the numbers to my time pain. TIme it starts for Texas: Day: And whatever else I forgot. And I'll play if I can get on. If its tomorrow around 4:30 PM, then drat! Curse dentists apointments! If not, yayay! And who's Idea was this? Its a great idea. -Hunter Out. The Freeport Santa Run : Get them X-mas commodities to Manhattan - Thurgret - 12-22-2009 From 3 to 6am for you, I think. Possibly 4 to 7. And it doesn't start in Texas. It starts at Planet Manhattan. Read the first post in this thread. And it was a janitorial brainfart that prompted this event. The Freeport Santa Run : Get them X-mas commodities to Manhattan - Tomtomrawr - 12-22-2009 I love this idea so much a grin was plastered to my face as I read the post. Count me in! FSR-Tomtom Edit: If you buy more than one of the commodity, will it disappear after the event? They could be like those Runescape Party Hats, and we could sell them for hundreds of millions, possibly billions of credits.:yahoo: The Freeport Santa Run : Get them X-mas commodities to Manhattan - ArmsAndLegs Guy - 12-22-2009 ' Wrote:How much will the new added commodities cost? Prices on the special commodities will be disclosed, when you arrive at the station. They will be fair, and different. Zoner's Eggnog takes a long time to ferment, so probably will cost more than a massproduced bretonian Plastic Partridrige in a Plastic Pear tree. So you might want to bring some cargo with you during your run to the freeports, in order to turn a profit on the run. Which logically an independent trader would do. You don't earn money flying with empty cargoholds. A & L Guy |
