Actually you guys are talking about problems that have yet even to reassert themselves. There is no whoring for the most part right now, it seems the mod is at its most balanced state. So this armor is fine, this is an RP server for factions and for people to RP. Now the location of this item is what mystifies me.
But remember this armor is not much over the other armors and decent pilot can make the difference. It's not like this armor is leagues above the other armors. It's only a little more, this will make the ship stronger against smaller ships but against another cap it won't do a lot of good. And as Korrd said it is mainly fear factor. I wouldn't challenge a BS in a fighter if it had that kind of armor. (And believe me I am crazy enough to attack a BS in a fighter/bomber alone)

At least Gammu and Primus....just so that it takes more than five minutest to purchase the bloody thing. Of course go fly an outcast dread to the omicrons I DARE YOU. It's hilarious watching that thing bounce around like a rubber ball. It really will test your sanity to the limit...

Try it with a Rheinland BS. The Outcast Dreaddy is nothing. I did it with the RBS once in SP, just to see if it was possible. It took me six days to move it from the Gamma JH to Primus.

LOL take the Rheinland Battleship to Omicron Minor. Mine got wedged in there I had to shoot the order patrols so they would ram me. (This was back in 4.79 when I was AW. I had an RH BS and tried to get it out to Omicron Theta. Yeah)

And yeah guys, you are saying its going to be BSs only now. Us few fighter lovers can easily change that. It takes a SINGLE bomber to kill an infinite amount of battleships, so long as the bomber doesn't get killed. There have been two instances already where a very small number of bombers have defeated a large number of capships. 1; 3 AW bombers beat 7 SF capships and 1 SF fighter (Back when 3-death rule was in effect, so we had to kill everyone 3 times. -.-)
2; Korrd (bomber), Tank (fighter), and DBoy (bomber) against ALOT of SA/SF capships. I can't even remember the numbers, but they were high.

vs 11 guys. 4 BS, 3 cruisers, 1 frigate 3 fighters and some gunboats. I didn't pay attention to everything else. And the BSG flagship went DOWN....Galacta went boom in that fight.
But yeah bombers and fighters used properly in a working team can beat anything nuff said.

Yeah, you did help a bit actually in keeping the heat off me and Korrd. Dboy helped tremendously and scored some kills. Nothing like fighting, SF/SA/FEAR/CCE all at once although the CCE and FEAR don't really count;)

And agreed, that armor needs to be moved. Falkland was far enough, but the faction using the base was apparently not "far" enough
The thing could be sold either in delta (yaren base) or unknown - gammu (robots prefer hi-tech stuff)
