I dont think you understand, my comment was in relation to the mis-information concerning the affiliation of the Osiris, not the Ghost Ships themselves or their actions.
As far as i am concerned they can ghost about all they like, just so long as it does not lead to PvPwhoring or disregard of RP.

Anyways, 'actual' ghosts have no place in discovery, but a while back I had brought up the idea of a group of pirates 'pretending' to be ghosts, using the guise of the wrecked rheinland fleet in sigma 13, as a means of psychological warfare. Even that never really went through, so that should give you a hint.
You should read the GMG|'s "Lost Children of Rheinland" RP. Our flagship's name, "Ayakashi", actually means something like "The ghost of a ship that appears during a shipwreck", or something to that effect.
