Comm ID: Minister Politus Aquila First off, congratulations on becoming the new leader of IMS. I'm certain that you'll be able to lead IMS well. To answer you: no, Cap Ships aren't usually allowed. Capital ships, due to their size and how dangerous they are, are usually banned from Omega-7 by the Rheinland Military. Even if they weren't, I'm certain that fighter craft like the Nyx and bomber craft Pytho are more effective in the dense asteroid fields and nebulae of Omega-7 than heavy cruisers and carriers, making capital ships unnecessary. I hope to see IMS prosper in the future, and to see more of you out in the fields of the Omegas. Sincerely, ![]() Minister Politus Aquila Ministry of Foreign Affairs Colonial Republic The Treaty of Omega 7 - Clavius - 07-10-2010 delete The Treaty of Omega 7 - Politus - 07-10-2010 edit: issue solved, delete The Treaty of Omega 7 - Swampcroc - 07-11-2010 I have a question, it says that both sides are allowed defense forces, but to the extent of not having huge fleets of cap ships. IMS Leader has an Argus, and was kicked out of O7, that is the only capital ship the IMS has, and is their HQ. It should be allowed. Please notify me if I am wrong. Since it is our headquarters, I am requesting it be an exception to this rule. Thankyou IMS Head of Diplomacy Matthew Underwood The Treaty of Omega 7 - Politus - 07-11-2010 INCOMING TRANSMISSION
Comm ID: Minister Politus Aquila Mister Underwood, while I have no problem with your Argus, since it is your corporate headquarters, it is a capital ship capable of fielding immense firepower. Ergo, it is on RM's no-no list. If you want it allowed in O-7, you should consult the Rheinland Military about getting an exception to their law in this case, as I do not have the power to let your Argus move into 0-7. ID: [color=#FFFFFF] Vorsitzender Gustav Albrecht To: Factions in Omega 7 Subject: Treaty of Omega 7 Guten tag, Omega 7 has changed a bit since this treaty was drafted. Kruger Minerals requests a new treaty be formed to include Kruger. We understand unavoidable circumstances prevented us from being a party to the treaty, however we are here now. We also understand this addressed the issues at hand when drafted, however this is NOT the Treaty of Omega 7 when ignoring one of the major players in Omega 7, Kruger Minerals. The Treaty of Omega 7 - Petitioner - 10-19-2010 Incoming Transmission Comm ID: David Grigori, ICMG Director of Commerce Subject: Treaty Of Omega-7 I believe I speak for the entire ICMG when I say that Vorsitzender Albrecht is correct - Omega-7 is no longer the same system we once knew it as. The old treaty of Omega-7 no longer bears significant relevance to the current landscape - indeed, I would go as far as to say that this treaty ought no longer be in effect, until such time as all parties with significant stake in the happenings of Omega-7 are able to agree upon a more currently relevant set of guidelines. Regardless, the ICMG shall continue to abide by this agreement, for the sole purpose of avoiding any potential conflict - though we do not, and hopefully, Daumann and other signatories do not, expect that organizations unrepresented in the Treaty, such as Kruger Minerals, abide by its dictums and stipulations. End Transmission. The Treaty of Omega 7 - Cris - 10-19-2010 Incoming Transmission From: System Control and Management Guten tag representatives of Kruger and ICMG. We also believe that this treaty is obsolete and we would like to discuss a new treaty; this time including Kruger, and of course, excluding the Colonial Remnant which vanished from the system 2 weeks after it was signed.
