[Proposal] A Fix For Bretonia - kramer - 10-26-2010 Again: Just remove all single player jumpholes. But that would not enhance roleplay like BPA at Trafalgar and a particular family doing metagaming, wouldn't it? [Proposal] A Fix For Bretonia - Linkus - 10-26-2010 To be fair, I love Bretonia's system of jumpholes. For pirates, they are fantastic. For the BPA and BAF, they are a pain. Oddly, I think that's the way it ought to be. Pirates can move about quickly, hitting and running. Police/Navy move about in force, clearing areas. [Proposal] A Fix For Bretonia - Huhuh - 10-26-2010 I recently made a Lane Hacker character and I love the Leeds hole, stuff waiting about on the lanes for some LNS-lol to pop up when I can fight Gallic Freelancers escorting BMM Rabas! But yeah it's a great piracy spot. If traders wanna risk flying through such dangers for a few minutes off their journey then I say let them, power to the people and all that. [Proposal] A Fix For Bretonia - Corsair - 10-26-2010 All of the jump holes you mentioned were put there for SP convenience. I think it's high time we shake things up, neh? [Proposal] A Fix For Bretonia - Azan27 - 06-02-2011 I firmly agree with the entirety of the original post. If this system was implemented, I believe that any problems it would cause would be heavily outweighed by the amount of things it solves, and that such problems could be ironed out after firm gameplay testing. Good work, keep it up! [Proposal] A Fix For Bretonia - Klaw117 - 06-06-2011 Yes, PLEASE do this. Many of the jump holes listed are only there for the sake of the campaign and should be either significantly moved or removed/replaced with jump hole connections that make more sense. On my Corsair, the easiest place to pirate is usually in front of jump holes, which makes no sense since most lawful traders either don't know or stay far away from jump holes because of their "dangers." Also, while on my trader, I can honestly say that on a typical trade run, I pass through, at most, two Bretonian systems. We need more activity throughout all of Bretonia and this is the way to do it. |
