Change that generic/civilian gun purple something chain... for something with 4.00 rate of fire and a decent damage, so no mercenary can get excuses about using faction guns... if you want faction weapons, ask for the owners, get licences, make agreements.

I'd make police factions have some advantage over the military when it came to their area of operation (hunting smugglers) Maybe a gun like this or possibly a highly powerful powerdrain gun, so that they can effectively immobilise a smuggler while they arrest him (although it would have to be quite slow moving to stop it being awesomepwnage)

Less NPC's

Customizable engines for fighters and bombers only as Connor already mentioned

Add more civilian tech, like civi 4.0 and 2.0

Edit: /local as default, or let us choose what we want as default...

I would like to have the complete chat history, even when i changed my ship.

I would like to have a more extended chat log in game.

I would like to have more than 5 ships per account.

I would like to have the extended turret view, or how you like to call it, dear Cannon.

I would like to get rid of the max ~99 non-stackable-items-per-char and max-20 item-of-same-type-rule.

I would like to be able to have 2, 3 or 4 or more different private comm channels open at the same time, with buttons, to choose from..

I would like to have /local as default.

I would like to have my personal, unique ship for my dealer, with advertising textures printed onto its hull.

Only from a dealer's point of view.

Yours,

~William Frederick Cody

Replace NPC train cd's with simple dvd's

You don't need to get killed for "atmosphere"

I'd rather give them VHS or Beta.

That said, I agree. NPCs need to burn.

I would change the fleeing equals dying thing, it doesnt make sense. Maybe set the punishment for fleeing to one hour while dying remains at 4?

Docking Abilities for Fighters to dock on Carriers, and somehow impose a limit on how many Can dock at once. like 3 for a Dreadnought(im using the Liberty ones here as Templates) and 10-15 for the LN carrier.
Also Provide Buy and Sell Stuff for re-arming.

Civillian weapons that are useful for more than a handful of godlike players, useful transport defences, Get rid of the train CD's on NPCs, and add some kind of incentive for lesser used factions, namely police and some unlawful groups.

Edit: Oh yes, and people getting their heads out of their rectums and focus on the good of the game rather than themselves. You know who you are.
