Enough fooling around though - its a good idea, and if a fool were to fall for it, then more fool that fool for falling. However, it's just as much a good idea to blast such tricksters out of their ships for the cheek of it.

If people can do it, they will do it.
As a pirate, you can only blame yourself for being so careless and incompetent in the first place to be even fooled by such a basic strategy. Ranting about it on the forums won't stop anyone from doing it.

This is the last straw. I will give no mercy to any trader who does this. I will distroy your ship, cargo, and take your money as well. I don't care how loud you scream. You will not leave that system with your ship intact.
On that note, save time and hassle by learning/using the server commands and/or drop your cargo. If you only use the transfer screen, DON'T RUN
I would just like to point out that, if you take their money/cargo and then kill them, you are violating server rules, and as a result can and should be sanctioned.
