ya we already had a gallic faction and their battleships. I agree they are strong and look real nice.
But the problem is gallia is most of the time a real boring place and using their ships as kusari...well...it is hard to find any reason for that move, even for us.
The planet was our colony yes, but as we decided to participate in solving the kusari problems now, a more mobile colony would be useful. That was the idea behind the jinkusu thing. The kusari battleships may not look so good but they are at least quite powerful, so the jinkusu was not meant as a replacement.
