Admin Notice: Server testing - Lobster - 03-05-2011 ' Wrote:Hey Gunny, how about have the fields regenerate ABOVE their normal capacity if not visited for too long? Like... If neglected long enough, the drop rate on say... the Cambridge beryllium field would become so ridiculously high that it wouldn't be funny. For a lilbit until it attracted interest that is...Brilliant, brilliant Idea! ' Wrote:I can see it now. Zoner juggies EKing through fighter fights... OOHHHHHHH YEEEEEEEEAAAAA Thanks Cannon, especially for the new cap ship ramming. I am hesitant about the new mining mod, sounds like there may be some bugs (especially with the prices of scrap), but some ore is better then no ore. Thank you, I'll go and test things out for myself right now. Quote:On the collision topic: I basically approve of this, but i'd be great if ships would suffer shield dmg upon collion first, and hull damage only with shields dow. While your logic is flawless and reasoning good, dont forget that ramming larger ships is against server rules. Think of this as a 'mini sanction' with the admins taking 1/8th your hull for being naughty;) Admin Notice: Server testing - SA_Scavenger - 03-05-2011 Anyone mind putting together a list of the mining ores and their new sell prices? Perhaps the time it takes to mine them now and also, if you're really up to it, some tests on the length of time it takes to deplete a field? This could seriously add a new dimension to the game. However, there is just one fear I have. It all depends on how long it takes resource fields to regenerate, is it every server reset or does it regenerate within a couple of hours? Thanks once again. Admin Notice: Server testing - Wuselkobold - 03-05-2011 Ramming caps is against server rules, ramming transports isn't:P Now we no longer have an option of stoffing cap8 Hegys from reaching Essex  Admin Notice: Server testing - DodgeOld24 - 03-05-2011 ' Wrote:Ramming: be careful if you use a small ship to ram a large ship. The small ship will take hull damage.YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES gonna ram into fighter furballs with a mako juggy RIGHT NOW I kid Admin Notice: Server testing - Stuart.croll - 03-05-2011 Just been to Tau 23 for the first time today. Mining seems great but would you Adam and Eve it? The wingeing has already started. Apparently there are only 'SOME' people who can 'officially' mine there now. I myself am an indie. Admin Notice: Server testing - SeaFalcon - 03-05-2011 Also blue messages are red...? The rest of the tweaks about mining I love. now I just want to see the hegie's cargo bay nerfed or we will see it even more. but thats imo. I'll be waiting for da /local commands to start working again. Admin Notice: Server testing - Chev - 03-05-2011 /l and other important commands was turned off because whining miners? For the sake of Gods! Here is how trading dies... In thunderous applauses. Admin Notice: Server testing - SeaFalcon - 03-05-2011 ' Wrote:/l and other important commands was turned off because whining miners? For the sake of Gods! They stopped working because of some other tweaks and are to be fixed -.- Admin Notice: Server testing - Sanguines - 03-05-2011 TBH, I think this will only cause miners to haul the ores themselfs >< Pirate demands 2 mil, next pirate comes, Demands more. So that miner will only have a 5 mil profit. for 20 mins of mining. Ye.. This really is gonna support mienrs to haul themselfs, rather ten player interaction to sell it to haulers.
