"Well you know," Alex replied. "All the usual questions the overprotective best friends asks: how is she? Did she look okay? How much does she hate me? Anything like that really." Alex sighed and leant against the wall.

"She still wants you dead, hoping your death will allow her to move on, and she said something about PTSD." Jeremy sighs. "She shouldnt smoke, its bad for your health."

Alex nodded.
"Well, if all she's doing is smoking I'm fine with it. She's done worse in the past under less stressful situations so..." His voice trailed off and he rubbed his eyes. He wasn't suprised that Emma thought she had PTSD... if he ever ran into her he'd be sure to talk to her about it.

"She wants you dead. I doubt she'd listen...sorry, but...its the truth. All you need is to prove that you're not innocent before you talk to her. Or at least corner her at a bar with distance and phasers set to stun."

Alex chuckled.
"I'm pretty sure I've cornered her in a bar with distance and phasers set to stun before." He smiled at the memory. "I'm pretty sure she punched me in the mouth and stopped talking to me for a week before finally admitting I was right." He chuckled.
"Anyway, it never hurt to have a little wishful thinking but I agree with you. She'll probably shoot me when she sees me..."

"I can try and talk to her again, if I rn into her. Or have one of my friends do tgat."
Jeremy toys with his crown necklace now, seemingly lost in thought.

"Well I'll see her when I see her and it'll all figure itself out." Yet at the back of his mind he knew that if he ever did run into Emma it would probably end with one of them in a coffin. He shook his head dislodging the thoughts.
"So what about you? You know an awful lot about me and everything I know about you has been learned second hand. What is it that motivates you Jeremy?"

Jeremy shook his head.
"Damn me and my fairness. If I find this on the,Nueral Net, not even The Society can protect you."
Jeremy sat down. He pressed a button, and the command chair swiveled.
"December 10, 780 AS. Me and my twin sister Ellie were born. We are older than most pilots. Lab accident, cryogenic sleep. We were woken twenty years later. The antidote seemed to work...then my favor, the XO of my mother's,dreadnought, the Say my Name, was found brutally mutilated. It had been the Nomads. I gathered what supplies I could December 31st 799, and set oit. Halfway through 800 AS I found Toledo. I joined the Order then. I am Alpha 2, second fighter of Alpha Wing, Edison Trent's wing. I saw many come,and go. But my loyalty comes from my want to defend humanity, because so one is doing it except the,Order...or was." A fire enters Jeremy's eyes. "But my motivation is to protect my little sister. She's,my world."
Jeremy leaned back and laced his fingers together.

Alex shook his head.
"No, I think I'm just about done. Like I said I just need information on this 'Daniel Marshal' fellow and if you can't give it to me... well I'll have to probe my other less official channels." Alex yawned and checked his datapad for an ETA on the latest code update. It was still saying 10 minutes until completion.
"So you flew with the legendary Edison Trent eh? All I've ever heard is stories. He's a bit before my time if you know what I mean. Must of been pretty damn awesome flying with him though..."
