Collision damage - Varyag - 03-10-2011 Fighting a different cruiser today, got down to 4 bars after his death, killed by a saber that rammed me almost instantly. Saber survived. Half hull on an labc, died when a sorta with just a little health left rammed me. Poof killed us both. A cruiser was in its death explosions, hit me and killed me. I don't know if it is absolutly awesome or a terror, but I can tell you that the nose of a bomber just became more powerfull then its snac. I did get a reverse kill on a sorta that was moving in. Since we always use formation flight, with sometimes 4 shires formed on 1 gunboat, for example, this results in heavy bounces when only one of us has a lag spike. This hadnt been a prob yet, but with the added hull damage it possibly may become. Ill check it. Collision damage - Jack_Henderson - 03-10-2011 Formation flight: Wouldn't it make sense to just increase the distance between formed up ships so that the possibility of hitting each other is reduced? Could be an easy fix. And: even in reality formation flight is not entirely safe... so some collisions (not as many as now, I completely agree) can and perhaps even should happen. |
