You know, I have spent a good deal of time in Alpha trying to develop my character's RP. To work myself into a position that I think would be fun and interesting.
During this time I have raided with and defending with many outcasts, both Indie and Factioned (101st, XTF, 13th..so on)
Many times, I have seen in the groups/raids, that the "official" faction players work well and share the load with the better known indies. Even having them be Cap leader, or fighter wing leader.. so on so forth.
The only reason this works is because everyone listens, and when they listen everyone is on the same page. Then everyone has more fun.
Danny, your playing a game with PEOPLE in it. A game that was designed around factions. Every faction has leaders at different levels, and if you want to play in a faction, you have to expect that unless you are the top dog, someone is going to give you orders.
It is the natural order of things, this is NOT a pvp server where you can just run off and do what you want.
This is an RP server FIRST.. and in RP.. 101st have overall say in Alpha, as they are the offical "navy" faction for the Outcasts.
So your "I do not have to take orders from you" outburst is strictly AGAINST official outcast RP, and as such they DO have the right to get upset with you. I honestly think that if you cannot handle this mindset.. a PVP server might be better for you.
You do not have to like the order, but like anything else you can follow it and keep your mouth shut, or not. If you choose not to, then do not act surprised when someone comes to repo's your ID and ship.
But if we are talking about the outcast faction as a whole, and the RP behind it.. Outcasts are VERY loyal to Malta and each other.. so inRP.. no outcast would disobey an order in Alpha or major territorial zone from the 101st..
It was you who showed poor RP in this situation.. not the players you are upset with. Something tells me that by your reaction here this is not the first time, and unless you change.. will not be the last.

I dont want to argue with you, cuz I see I get more hate from ya... This thing what is happening now its too common... It happens in every mmo out there, "If a group of players, who have more time played on a specific server, they get the power abuse sindrom (that is a Fact, go search and see), they get the feeling that they have a kind of PLUS near the rest, so they "fight" everybody against...they have the power group and usually everybody stays quiet because they "own" it now" if you think I am wrong well you havent played enough mmos to figure that... and I will not do that, I will respect you, because I know behind the ship is a human being, but I can get banned too, if im a lone player you arent better than me period... you are players as I am, just you played longer here and you evolved already a powerfull group.

It won't take long time and comments like "indie player = lolwut" will show up again.
Being an indie is a hard time anyway. No need to give the "veterans" the impression that indies don't know
about server rules and faction lore.

I think you are missing the point.
Your in-game RP in this situation was negative.. IE the official naval forces of the system and faction your in gave you an order or suggestion and even though you complied.. you shot back with a smart assed remark.
This is problem 1.. your attitude.. you have one.. it needs to go. Knock that chip off your shoulder and start thinking before you fly off at the handle.
Problem 2.. You want to buck the system in a game with rules and established RP. This is not a bad thing, but the way you are trying to do it is a poor attempt at redefining something already accepted. Doing something like this takes a great deal of time and respect. Neither of which you have in the game atm it seems. For how can you have respect from the players.. when you seem to show little to them yourself.
In life (even on the net) there is a pecking order.. the long time players are not "better" then you personally, but they are more experienced then you in this game and RP. The last thing you want to do is piss off the people you are trying to play with, because before long.. you will be playing this game alone, without the support of any official faction, flying a freelancer/merc/vig ID all the time.
Or.. if this continues.. not playing at all.

and you talk about respect? "danny boy" "danny awsum" etc is that respect? you trolling me all day now cuz I didnt gave you respect, and what did I got? danny boy and awsum?

So if now i want with some friend of mine to create my unofficial faction that is still OC, but not affiliated with xtf etc, and not take orders from them? well seems i cant, thats it, if i want to be an oc theres no other way, game over for me and my friend who we are trying to simply have a nice small group of OCs...

The one thing I see in all of these posts, Danny. You want everyone to listen to your opinion or thoughts. Your side of the story or stance. Yet it is blatant by your responses that you do not wish to listen to the people trying to tell you theirs. This is what we in the professional world call "un-coachable".
You are dead set that you are right, everyone else is wrong, that you should be listened to, yet should not have to consider any one else's input.
You will never win people over to an idea by being closed minded. The fastest way to get others to rethink their position is to accept theirs and then pose an intelligent question.
All you have done here is try and justify your actions and personally attack the other side.
If this is not true.. then please prove me wrong. Think about what people are saying here, read up on the RP, try and look at the other side of the equation.. then come to a conclusion.

What you are talking about is called 'Have played for a much longer time on this server, they've earned RESPECT and RIGHT to become the ruling Player Faction of the Outcasts'
