"Because no one's seen or heard from her in a year or more." Briar replied. "And because I was with her when the job went south."

Maybe she wants to remain hidden for a while, who knows ? I'm sure she's fine right now.

And...what kind of job was that ?

Briar smiled.

"Let's just say Havoc and I were mercenaries of questionable moral standing and leave it at that."

On high alert in Omega-3, The Trident lurked, fighter screens operating in near complete silence, assisting the Zoners defend Freeport 1 when necessary

Ramirez took another drink from his glass, while reading the words on his PDA
Code:
Orders for 63rd Pilots: CLASSIFIED

We are here in Omega 3 for one purpose only. To defend freeport 1 and the residents from harm. As such, the following Rules of engagement have been given to us by Order High Command, and are to be followed to the letter. We are not here to start a war, we are just acting as a defense force.

Rules of Engagement:
-Any ship which is not there for protection or resuply is not welcome within 5k around the Freeport.
-Passing by the Freeport is permitted for Traders, Miners and so on.
-All Bretonian and Rheinlandish vessels have no permission to dock or to stay within the NFZ.
-Enemies of the Order have to be tolerated within Omega 3. Selfdefense permitted.
Right out of Special Forces training and mashed into a high danger zone. Great.
Rico Ramirez took another swig from his glass, wondering what exactly was inside the blue liquid, but not caring.

Briar walked in rubbing the back of his head. He'd just finished moving his fighter to Omega-3 and was looking forward to a short break. An unlit cigarette hung from the corner of his mouth.

"Ramirez, you got a..." His voice trailed off. "Dude... I can't believe you actually drank the blue liquid."

Rico looked up at Briar then down at his drink

What? It tastes fine, and I need a drink! ...why...whats in it? Did I just drink my executioner?

63rd|CV-Trident - Pyromaniac - 07-05-2011

"I don't know what's in it. No one knows what's in it. That's why no one drinks it... maybe..."

Briar looked up at the ceiling.

"Maybe its Nomad brains or something. Beats me." He sat down across from Ramirez. "Anyway, you got a light?"

Rico reaches into his pocket
Uh yea. I dont smoke, but I keep a lighter with me at all times. Don't ask why.

He slides the closed lighter across the table, then takes another sip of the blue drink

I'm sure they wouldn't make nomad brains into a drink. Its illogical, even for us. You should try it.

63rd|CV-Trident - Pyromaniac - 07-05-2011

Briar lit his cigarette and tossed the lighter back to Rico.

"I had it once on a bet." Briar replied exhaling a puff of smoke. "Wasn't good at all."

Rico downs the rest of the drink

Says you. Its quite sweet. Anyway, what do you think of the whole Omega 3 situation?
