The Wild have many more enemies in Sirius than the GRN do, and the proposed guns would make our ships less powerful, as opposed to more powerful.

The main activities of the Wild are killing people, it comes with the territory of having 98% of Sirius as your enemies.

but don t many a factions have similar claims? to be feared and all.... there are also many factions with many enemies in many places they go to - wh ich still have to stick to rather inferior weapons.
anyway - you answered all my concerns.

I seem to recall somewhere you said that you didn't actually want people to think that, and you wanted people to try and go according to lore regarding that the nomads didnt want to whipe everyone out?
Nobody can force a type of rp upon you, if you choose the pvp-ish approach, it's your decision and you shouldn't blame it on the rest of the community.

Yeah, we'll only be using a maximum of 50% of these guns on our ships anyway, it's usually two Nomad guns per fighter.
And no, I think many factions should have better guns.
Gaians, LWB, Unioners, Bundies, BAF etc. They all deserve much better guns.
The BD could do with having the GC's gun, and the GC need a new gun. Cause I've noticed the BD using GC guns cause they prefer them, and the GC not using their own guns cause it's too much drain on the Blossom or Eagle.
But that's a different arguement altogther.

Nope, we act in defence, and we're the deniable ops wing of the Nomads.
Sirius chose to hate us, we're just giving them what they want. If they don't want diplomacy, so be it. We'll shoot them instead.

I know right, people seem to think it's a war crime or something. The Wild were bred for combat, 70% of our ships are designed to hunt and slaughter.
People need to stop seeing PvP as wrong and start realising that it's more than 90% of what RP is in Freelancer.
Do we admit we want guns for PvP... of course we flipping do! What else are guns used for besides shooting things?!

Yeah, we're not asking for overpowered guns, just guns that are as good as the best public guns available. The Wild have the knowledge of the Nomads behind them, they're not gonna cough up Flashpoints, people should fear our shooters, not laugh at them. :/

And for a faction that has the most enemies in the game, who has to fight the largest variety of ships and factions, I don't think asking for the best guns publically available is unreasonable at all.
Especially when we only use a few per ship.
