Dublin? Please. The ore fields there are always depleted. That and corsair patrols mean I ended up doing more shooting of NPCs than rocks the last time I was there.

You can sell your ore to to traders that are not affected by this. -> creates interaction and RP. Gallic Companies are usually looking to buy ore from the Taus. Contact GMS/EFL/IDF and they will probably give you a good price (not as good as on New Berlin but still better than nothing).

Fstadt's out of the trade loop for pragmatic and military reasons. On day one, the whole gang RP'd evacuating all already-mined raw minerals off the station to prevent them from potentially falling into RM hands as well as making room for the garrison and their supplies. The station has been militarized and any commercial activity on board - halted for the duration of hostilities.

Well, as I see, there are some possibillities how you still can manage to make a profit.
1. Smuggle goods into Rheinland and out again. Of course there will be a greater risk with Rheinland Patrols, but when there are just 40 players in there, you should be able to outrun/outfight anything from Rheinland.
2. Pirate a bit. You are allowed to be hostile towards BMM, Daumann and Kruger in the Omegas. Do it and sell their goods in Bretonia or Liberty for the extra mile.
3. Trade somewhere else. You can do big money by trading from and to IMG Bases. Do it.
4. Be a rogue miner. Mine in somebody else fields. I am not the brightest about mine fields, but there are some more out there then in the Omegas and Taus.
5. Try RP to make IMG and Rheinland shake hands again.
6. Change your ID to something else.
If you need RP Reasons for the above, just think about it. For smuggling, not everyone has to agree with the Upper Commands. Or there are contracts still open, forcing you to get the goods into Rheinland no matter the cost. For pirate, you can blame Daumann or Kruger for your upcoming loss in the yearly balance, forcing them to pay a part of it, additionally putting additional preasure onto Rheinland. For the move to somewhere else or some other fields, IMG has to expand. Any standstill means the beginning of destruction.

The Tau 23 - New Berlin Niobium run: Yes, we know that this is a bad blow to IMG money making. But keeping it open would be complete nonsense ingame.
The IMG has a trade agreement with IDF in Taus 23. 3300 / unit.
Perhaps that might help until the fighting in o7 is over.
