Because people should roleplay within the established lore and universe, not incorporate things that don't belong simply because they can.

The planets are there, so why not?Because there isn't any established sentient gas alien role-play. There are already the Primusians in the game, but nobody's bothered to do anything else with them. If it was an empty habitable planet I wouldn't have called it up, but the aliens are there and nobody is doing anything with them.
Primus is already incorporated into the Discovery Universe. Into the Freelancer Universe. I'm not trying to tack something onto the side because I can. I'm doing it because it's a part of the Discovery Universe that is there but isn't being used, and every part should be used.

Oh yes, my argument is entirely invalidated. How could I not think of writing 2 sentences to create an entirely new species that there is zero basis for in lore. Brilliant, no really. I guess I can start. We can establish ourselves on some planet, and fly around Eagles because those are Sirius-wide civilian.
Primus (and Gammu for that matter) is in game solely because some DA developers thought it would be funny to put them in. If that establishes it as part of the roleplay environment within Disco then I fail to see how this can even be called a roleplay server. The lore has already been stretched, butchered, altered, deviated from, and in some cases completely ignored solely because people want to act out some sort of fantasy they have that's completely unrelated to Freelancer as a whole.
This is what happens when there are no gamemasters.

Why does the fact that those two planets were initially put into the game as a joke limit its RP potential? It is in the game, and instead of covering our eyes and ears every time we pass through Kappa and pretending it doesn't exist we could use it.
One thing I'd like to point out is that I do not believe furries should be in the game. Dog-people things don't belong because they've just been tacked on by somebody who wants to do it for the hell of it. But Primus and the Primusians - basically monkeys - are already in the game and shouldn't be judged to be incapable of becoming a part of Discovery Lore just because their original purpose was as a joke.
If you still don't like it Shryke, I wish you luck with your gas-planet-inhabiting sentient creature role-play.

Seems to have been abandoned. Sprolf returned, left again and returned again without touching that project again. Granted it is a nice way of explaining the background of Primus whilst following the infocard provided for the planet.
My exams are coming up so I don't have time to write an entire new lore for Primus. I may have to leave it and return to the idea once I have more time. 4.86 may be a better time to think about changing the planet's lore.
