That actually has some enjoyable role play in it. Do I even care about the blue messages? No. I scroll past all of them and read the words he typed. The blue merely lets me know he is actually out there doing what he claims he is doing.

Anyone can write a story and claimed to have kill 500 people. Doesn't mean they did.

People are free to roleplay as characters who want nothing more then attention. Remember, Roleplay means, as the name suggests, playing a role. So, if someone wants to play the role of a character who wants attention, fame and recognition, is that not roleplay?

Yes, maybe they're showing off as well. I'm of the mind that it's fine to be a little proud of your accomplishments, as long as you don't keep rambling on about them after the whole thing wears out.

And as I said, if the person is roleplaying someone who wants attention, then it's not OORP, now is it?

You mentioned that the roleplay that came with the post were "moderate." so what would you change about the posts to make it "Good Roleplay"? Infact, what's your personal definition of "Good Roleplay"?

Good to see I managed to deliver my point.
So you see... It's "Good RP" when you know the reason(s) behind it, while my char might not find it suitable to mention "Hey guys! My business sux... But I can kill stuff for real, so I beg you! Hire me!" in his transmission.

That, in a simpler wording means - While the RP reasoning behind it might be even perfect, one can still go "Oh look! aerelm is bragging about his kills!" soon as they see the thread. So, just because the character doesn't find it suitable to write a novel to deliver a point which can be easily done with posting a wall of blue msgs, doesn't essentially mean it's the player doing it for their e-peen.

So... If you don't see it as InRp taunt, you'd better look again instead of taking it to an ooRp level.
That again, in simpler wording means - This community doesn't need better roleplayers, it simply requires friendlier players.

That depends of the intention of the thread.

If it's "encrypted from all, only for us" where they (f.e. Avengers) put A LOT of blue messages and the story behind it is "We went to Dublin and got shot at" and links "again", "and again" that's not communication. They always hunt in packs. They know what they done. They don't create any communication there. They just store those blue messages.

RRRorry did communicate with others. So he created roleplay.
