another question

As BMM i'd like for stations to replace barges.

Can we add stuff for places like graves?

or will we be forced to create storage depots?

Yes, the stations are permanent unless destroyed.

I should mention that stations will be destroyed automatically after a few days if they run out people, water, food, energy and parts.

Can the guys who build it decide what kind of station it is?

I mean... For example - can we create a asteroid base for the sake of rp in a asteroid field?

Would be cool.

edit: Will those stations have decent weaponary to defend itself even a bit?

I predict Q_Q, because even if players create a station, maintain it, if an other group don't want it that will be easy to destroy.

However could we hide it above or below the plan ? If no that will be easy to destroy them.

Like when the brage was made public lot of player said : let's destroy them.

And one more thing : build a station is costly ( i'm sure) firing mortar is free. So to make one survive you will have to make a huge player group to defend it 24/24 7/7. Because each bullet which will hit the station will cost you more that when the opponent lost a ship.

To my mind , The station can be destructible if at least some member who build it, are near it. And if no one is here the station is more resistant/Undestructible. However is the defend team is destroyed or leave the station will stay during 1h a destructible station.

Perhaps destruction of station should require enough dmg in set amount of time, like if you dont do XXX dmg to station in 10(for example) mins the hp will reset back

Bigger the station bigger the number/smaller timer. So start up outpost would need some 5 bombers keeping pressure on station to destroy it, while battlestations would need constant bombardment of several anti-cap setup battleships to be destroyed or something like that

The Biggest questions I have are:

Can you change who (IFF/IDwise) is hostile to your base at will or is it determined by your Reps WHEN you make the base and changes along with them?

Will they be mappable or will they be like the Order Osiris in Alaska and unmappable?

Will the base model conform to it's surroundings? (Such as an Asteroid Base built in an Asteroid looking similar to the rocks around it)

I think that means influence wise(IE NPCs and such)
but probably for armaments it will probably depend on what you bring and how well stocked it is(IE like did you bring a light mortar to install on your base? How did you get it?)

That would be some pretty good RP for LPI when they find more than illegal base defenses (Like a Battlerazor)
