I'm currently having some trouble with my Discovery mod, so unless someone else takes screenshots of the ships the other insignias will have to wait a bit.

Looks good eyvind. My only suggestion is removing the border from around the chip on the left side.

I like this first background much more
Can you make the same border as it is in a banner? I'd like to see how it will look with it.
And the border around chip isn't needed.

That border is pretty close to the banner border, I think.
I also changed the background a little bit, but didnt revert to the original since I think it needs to be simple and as clear as possible.
I left the chip border, but softened it a bit, since if I took out that border and the semiopaque background the chips would blend too much into the background.

I hope it isn't too much.. :P
(And I've sharpened the slight motion blur on Sabre)

I'd like to see ships in their orginal colours. Dunno why but inscription 'Specialist' doesn't look nice, too big for me. I also don't like pure black background of whole left side. What is more those "rings" leave a lot to be desired...
