No, that's silly. There's nothing to protect the delicate sensor equipment with if the flaps are gone. Sense, makes none.

The current one looks like it's straight out of Star Wars.
Replace it, model looks good. You could try making the nose a bit sharper.

More fun for me during downtimes on the tradelanes and docking bays. This ship looks sleek, high tech and smexy. Like an improvement on the oddball craft that currently terrorizes corporate players throughout Liberty. The missile pods look a little out of place - that is, unless the two forward only turrets would be mounted inside those pods.
I'm a little hesitant to approve however, thinking about how it'll be balanced. Done right, with sweet agility, faster thrusting, a low core and armour rating, it'd be nice to escape from ganks while tearing through trasports and snubcraft but...yeah, might end up being overly lame and crummy, much like a smaller version of the old Conference.
