There are tons of factions that have gabs in their lines and also tons of imports to replace and you all rush to the useless stuff. Civilians/indipendents that have no faction to back them up should not be able to use GBs,corporations could use their house GB however with proper small nerf. No need of this really.
So, say, it's a group of mercenaries who take on military jobs (unlike bounty hunters who take out single targets of unlawfuls and yet, as a faction who doesn't actually have a ZoI or focus on territory claims, they STILL get gunboats? I'm not seeing it) they would have probably access to a rare use gb.
Outside of that this isn't about the role or placement, it's about the model.
The model is neat but if you want it to match the line you're talking about, thorus or funnel shaped front would fit a lot more.
That said, it's still sweet.

Maybe knock some of the detail down a little so it looks inexpensive. Otherwise I think it looks really good, perfect for a civilian-grade gunship that is available to every faction.

Isn't the LH gunship abnormally large for a light gunship, and isn't the Liberty gunboat kind of large?
I really like the model, but if it's going to be a light gunboat/gunship, might want to size it against the properly-sized light gunships...

I really like that model, fits in perfectly, textures too.
Although, I think it would look even cooler if it had some engines on the wings, maybe? Just a thought.
