I said nothing against the Pirate Cruisers which are best idea for a pirate capship. I already voiced some suggestions, i might voice some more if i get to think of something else, but this is not an option just because i know how it feels to be capganked in ossies/turtles with only snubs and up to cruisers at your disposal. Everyone loves slow moving targets that can't shoot back, right? It took me a while to understand it and all we can do is deal with it. I am sayin that this topic could not work while this line is crossed, this or one of the sides consider the other side as idiots and are laughing at them with jokes like Osiris or like giving them NPC patrols that would be off when the rides happen. Lets improve the gameplay between the Hessians and the Corsairs - Knjaz - 04-01-2012 Govedo, I've yet to test out this newly bought thing in the actual combat in asteroid field, but I already see few things you... or, more precise, a potential, that you, seemingly, refuse to see in a Legate - that ship got unique properties almost no other battleship in mod has , at this moment. Valor, KuDread, LibDread, Redemption, Nephilim, Ossie, Mako - all these lack that, for example. Not sure about turtle, but more like it lacks it as well. It's like a healthy man among crippled ones, in one certain way. As for asteroid fields, well I cruised around O41 and Malvada. Sometimes funny, but nowhere as bad as you've been mentioning - I've seen worse. Maybe, let's do a race?:) But I do admit it will be a pain to fight with it in asteroid field, especially against skilled Jorms. But all we need for that is to have Ossie being driven into Mako/Togo league, with slot numbers and arcs (2x360 heavies, 2x360 primaries, 2x180-forward primaries) P.S. And you once, somewhere, mentioned you're not that deep into BS'es, anyway. |
