Buy some better internet?

Sometimes Disco is laggy, but from playing the last 2 days its really not that bad. Two days ago in Conn for instance, there was a CCCP-reunion party or something like that - Valors everywhere - and it was super laggy, but yesterday we were more players in there, all in snubs, and it hardly lagged at all. I don't know if the caps got anything to do with it, but it just stood out. Yesterday even my missile spam of doom tactic worked, which is a clear indicator that the lag isn't all that bad if your connection is decent.

Besides from that, PVP is great - too many bots/bats on snubs for 1 v 1 snubfights, yeah, but it's needed for group/fleet battles.

What a helpful advice that is.

Ok sorry, to be constructive what you can do if you find your connection really laggy is:

1. Powertrade your way to the top. Pay pirates, avoid combat.

2. Use all that money to buy a CAU VIII Dreadnought and use that for PVP. Lags mean less in combat, especially if you are in a heavy dreadnought and you charge at your opponents point blank range.

But really to get the most out of Disco you need a good connection and ok hardware - I played on a netbook using internet stolen from my neighbour so I know what I am talking about.

I advised to give a better advice, you just did the same, so don't tell me to give a better advice ... 8-|

Alternatively you could move to a server without playerbase from all around the globe.

when I saw that people are finding happiness around me, I realized I have to be alone around myself to find it as well. forever alone level, in pursuit of happiness.
