The house battletransports are >4000 cargo, so a cargo capacity of 3500 would be penalty. Actually it should probably have a bit less, since that would make the BWT less desirable, probably about 3000-3200 neighborhood would be good. The docking bay provides an extra bonus to make it interesting beyond just cargo, so that is good for keeping it attractive.
The concept was that of a Super Heavy Gunboat.
But...if you want to change it to a transport, then those values will be good, 3000 is perfect. A well defended Civilian battle transport that can hold decent cargo that a Freelancer can use.
Or we can just heck the whole thing and make it an IMG battle transport. (IMG| bias kicking in here)

I'm not sure I want this ship used as a transport. It was designed as a super heavy gunboat, something which travels alone and is able to defend itself as such. And, the number of it's turrets is irrelevant, it's the firing arcs that matter.

I agree with Nickolai, don't make it a transport. Keep it the way it is - a heavily armed / armored exploration-or-something vessel.

This was never the intention. It is a completely new ship. And yeah, my hope was that this ship would have a docking bay. It was designed with it in mind, but I believe only fighters/bombers and small freighters/miners should be able to dock on it.
