Perhaps drop the upper "strut" on Concept 4 and call it a frigate?
Which means we'd have to define "frigate" in Discovery balance terms...

Basically, when numerous models are stockpiled, they could be merged between. Especially when they are design-related.
Also a reminder - models you see here are rough "sketches" which are not polished and thus tagged as concepts.. Once I finish with model studying (Jinx` term) I will move to the model`s dedicated thread (or create one).

4 and its derivatives looks like freighter to me. According to me it does not suit the Transport class type of ship but it could be excellent freighter. May be generic miner freighter type of ship- skinned like Hegemon since it fits virual modelwise.
For me 1 is still the best.

The 5.1 is definitely my favourite though I'd lose the cuboid under the tail, looking at it from the back I can why you put it there but side on it looks out of place. Other than that it's looking good.
