RE: Red Hessian Army feedback - Banned player t202085 - 04-26-2018 Just flew as an indie alongside RHA, being on coms the guys was really fun. I highly recommend tagging along just for the chat/vibe even if nothing else logs to challenge you RE: Red Hessian Army feedback - Wesker - 09-22-2018 (09-22-2018, 03:41 PM)Riehl Wrote: It's pretty easy to portray yourself as invincible memes when you engage people as soon as you find them rather waiting for the group fight to compose itself, then shoot the member who is having binding issues despite repeated messages to the contrary whilst they're not firing back. Tanith, please consult feedback to our faction feedback page here. As for the official response to your feedback: [22.09.2018 14:39:09] UN|Gustav.Eins: Orgasm in peace, arschlochs. If you hear that, it's the sound of coffin nails being driven into the lid of the server by a cynical and elitist veteran community. Edit: I have new players in UN. I try to encourage them that fighter PVP isn't an impossibly steep cliff, it's something that's attainable for everyone. That isn't particularly easy to achieve when they're PVP'd ingame as one veteran would PVP another veteran. RHA's regulars is largely comprised of people who are very good at PVP. For one reason or another, people who are good at PVP stick together. It creates an impression of general disdain when people have to fight that. Waiting for people to group up isn't too hard. There wasn't time to strategise, formulate a plan, or even call targets. RE: Red Hessian Army feedback - Enkidu - 09-22-2018 Before other people pile on here, I'm having a pretty productive conversation with Wesker on this subject on discord. Kudos RHA. Kudos to Wesker for listening. We had a meaningful and involving debate about how to make skill disparity function in 2018 disco. You've got a good leader, RHA. RE: Red Hessian Army feedback - Geoffacake - 09-29-2018 Tried my best to refrain doing faction feedback publicly at all but I think the amount of independent players currently in the Red Hessian's might like to take note if they wish. I've taken a step back and just assessed myself before I pour on a litre of pure post-losing salt. While the resurrection of the RHA is alright in my books along with the occasional home raid and so on., something has been leaving a sour taste with my previous 'interactions' with them. Especially with the system raids that are currently going on. While I'm not one to do raids myself and normally find myself on the defensive side. Its best I at least put down some reasons that might show why I'm biased: - The BDM is too small that it lacks members for backup, - The co-ordination of Rheinland lawful forces as of late is poor, - and not to forget that almost every engagement I've had in the past few months myself have resulted in a loss. But that should not effect how the RHA plays against us, but what should is this. Home system raids are something touchy people may or may not like them, but what they do generate is activity. But how it should be executed in the battle phase is different. This is my view. Give people time to assemble, you already had an overwhelming force of 10+ on station what the other side were still trying to gather up on whats going on. (I may or may have not engaged the Hessian Cruiser at first so I'll take the blame for that.) But I've had other reports that a total steamrolling storm in the capital of Rheinland has been creating unwinnable scenarios of almost everyone. While combat events are fun, being "2-hours player dead" after 5 minutes of fighting against impossible odds aren't. I've had reports of 3 RHA fighters take on a lone RFP SHF, if i could read that from statistics, he barely had a chance and if i was in his position, barely even taking some sort of satisfaction that I had any sort of effect on the outcome even if I lost. Its leaving the feeling of "That was a fun fight" that I enjoy, and recently my combat interactions with the Red Hessians aren't that. Its more of a "I guess I'm dead for 2hrs in my home system." feeling, something a lot more unpleasant without anything to take home. An uneventful fight that feels like another day down the toilet bowl. While I am logging to at least promote some resistance and at least something that can fight back, it ended up resulting in 2-hours of me not being able to complete another task that required me going through New-Berlin and leaving without any sort of satisfaction that others would carry on the fight. People on the lawful side ended up docking or logging off because this home raid that resulted in just... Nothingness. Yeah RHA won, there was a shootout, but not a lot to take home from it other than being blocked out of your capital for 2-hours. There wasn't a "Big fight" or some nice engagement that lasted for 30 minutes with a great effort to go along with it. It was just log on, get blown up, and wait for 2-hours playing another game or stay on the forums. RE: Red Hessian Army feedback - Wesker - 09-29-2018 I usually take note of this sort of thing if it looks as though a fleet is coming, however. RM playerbase Wrote:Felix L. Krause - SquidwardToday at 4:13 PM We don't raid NB often, in fact I think this is the first time we've literally gone to NB in force on that magnitude. We were there to carry out an assassination on some other people in New Berlin. Still, I'll take note of it for next time if it looks as though people are coming to assist. I don't shoot people out of spite, and while it's known that I really don't care that much about numbers since the same happens to me some times, I can take note of it in the case of home system raids at least. You are dragging this quote out of the context: RM Discord Wrote:Vlad.Today at 4:10 PMYou brought snubs, why would he need to log a BC and get spammed with novas? Also it's not only about the players, but about the skill. RHA has a lot of skilled players. when Rheinland lawfuls have mostly mediocore players. RE: Red Hessian Army feedback - Cursetantine - 12-14-2018 Now this might sound stupid and unnecessary, but while you guys siege'd the base I kindly asked the sector to one guy with you; Quote:[14.12.2018 09:49:27] Klaus.von.Hammersmark: sector? Now, if I didn't see this comm and the screenshot before; https://discoverygc.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=165823&pid=2049064#pid2049064 I would actually fly to 1A like a dork. But the reason I am giving feedback isn't about me, but imagine I was a newbie, that kindly asks which sector is the situation taking place and given such answer by the "PoB SieGe GanG" is this how you would treat new players, or any players in Disco? Please note. RE: Red Hessian Army feedback - Cursetantine - 12-14-2018 No I don't really mind, but as I said, someone else could and that would hurt the community. |
