Urgent tight-beam communication >> Department of Tactical Operations // 04/23/830 A.S.

Upon nearing the last leg of my patrol and shakedown cruise of XFR-8801, the long-range electronic warfare unit newly assigned to me based upon the "Grizzly" chassis, returning to New York from Colorado, I came across a Xeno on long range scanners. Immediately, I left the trade lane and vectored towards the threat, proving to be XA-Cobra, otherwise known as Robert Eugene Hughes or 'Damien Moretti'. The details are largely unimportant, however the threat was engaged and quickly Hughes fell back to a fighting retreat. Noting that I would run out of cruise disruptors long before he ran out of countermeasures, even factoring in my vessel's greater speed at cruise, I opted to instead follow the Xeno to see where he would go, a choice that would prove fruitful as he fled to the Ontario system, the nest of the Xeno movement itself.

Upon entering the system, I engaged my vessel's cloak due to the Ontario system being largely uncharted since lawful forces pulled out years ago. With such sensitive and advanced communications and scanning arrays on my vessel, I was hesitant to take the risk of being jumped by superior numbers. Still trailing the Xeno, however, he lead me towards jump holes both towards the California and Kepler systems. The California entrance to Ontario has been mapped by myself and my crew in the middle-left of Sector D3, the Colorado entrance at the bottom right corner of Sector B5, and the Kepler entrance at the bottom of the BC4 line. It is noteworthy however that this is by far the most unstable of all three jump holes, and transit of vessels above Freighter-class is not recommended.

While my gratitude goes out to Mr. Hughes for his contributions to the cartography of the Liberty combined armed forces, I would propose that Tactical Operations in conjunction with the Department of Homeland Security use these entry points to stage further scouting operations into the Ontario system and perhaps identify the state of the Xeno presence in the system. I have attached my own updated map with the new jump hole data, including points of egress. Given that Hughes only showed me the unstable Kepler jump hole when I was still in pursuit after all other attempts to shake me, I believe that the rumoured Xenos base of operations may be in sector BC23 as he may have been attempting to keep me away from this area of the system if he could, however this is a tenuous theory and it would likely be an extremely high risk operation to search the entire sector, as such a search of this nature is not recommended.

Agent 'Blue'

Field Report No. 4 - 5/27/830 AS

Agent 'Blue' reporting aboard Fort Custer. Standard patrol was uneventful until 2148 hours, when a Corsair transport, callsign CCS>San.Rafael was spotted in the California system, and was found to be hauling 4,300 units of Xeno Relics, which are contraband in Liberty.

Subject tried to reason with agent, including the claim that artifacts should benefit humanity and aid in the destruction of the Nomads. In addition, subject called the agent a "snake". No reasoning could be done, so the order to arrest was made. Target's ship was impounded at 2155 hours and the remaining contraband was collected by one of the Navy's logistics ships, the [LN]-LLS-Rushmore.

Agent 'Blue'

Field Report No. 5 - 6/16/830 AS

Agent 'Blue' reporting aboard Fort Custer. Near Norfolk Shipyard, agent was assigned to provide escort for the two 46th| transport vessels, alongside the Primary Fleet and other vessels. Intended destination was to the Omicron systems.

The convoy made the trip successfully, although some complications were present. A Lane Hacker affiliate was identified in Omicron Nu, callsign LH~Franz.Oberhauser:. Subject was disabled not long after by escort fighters and the transports managed to escape unscathed. Agent encountered an Order cruiser, callsign Unto.Nightfall|S8, which immediately fled.

After jumping to Omicron Zeta, multiple Order readings were confirmed. Their behavior to the convoy was, surprisingly, non-hostile. Agent maintained a careful observation on their behavior as the convoy jumped to Omicron Mu.

The convoy successfully obtained the palladium with few complications. Interestingly, an IMG battlecruiser was present, callsign Scoria. Subject immediately left the scene. During the trip, however, two Corsair gunboats, callsigns DTR-CNS>Soy.Peligroso and DTR-CNS>El.Gran-Capitan, and a Core vessel, Force!Challenger were spotted, but showed no hostile intent. On the return trip, Nomad signatures were confirmed, though the convoy managed to depart safely towards Omicron Minor.

While nearing the Omicron Nu jumphole, however, cloak signatures were detected. After activating the disruption field, another Corsair cruiser, callsign DTR-CNS>Cimitarra, appeared in the vicinity. Hostile confrontation was expected, but the cruiser decided to flee and cease pursuit, and the convoy transports safely made the return trip back to Norfolk Shipyard with the palladium intact.

Agent 'Blue'

Field Report No. 6 - 7/23/830 AS

Agent 'Blue' reporting aboard Fort Custer. Near the Pennsylvania jump gate in New York, agent encountered a freelancer, callsign von_Stein, flying a pirate transport. There were no records in the Liberty ship database that suggested the subject had a license to fly such a ship.

Subject tried to bribe agent, but eventually complied with orders to pay a fine of two million credits after a number of unsuccessful attempts at coercion. After the fine was paid, subject was ordered to escort towards California where it proceeded to talk about "salvage laws". Instead, subject was told to get a new, legal ship or a license, and was then promptly escorted out of the system via the Cortez jump gate.

Fort Custer continued standard, routine patrol within the California system. While investigating the Texas jump hole, a Corsair liner, callsign DTR-CCS>El.intrepido, appeared. However, scans showed no traces of cargo. A brief conversation took place, which was cut short as agent responded to a distress call in Texas, just outside the California jump hole.

Fort Custer proceeded to assist a fellow liner, callsign =LSF=Sentry.Osprey, from a Corsair frigate hauling Xeno Relics, callsign DTR-CCS>Torro.Halcon, which was attacking the liner. After sufficient damage was dealt to the frigate, subject promptly held fire and was ordered to drop the relics. The liner confiscated the Xeno Relics and agent followed the frigate towards Beaumont Base. Target vessel was identified as carrying illegal technology of Corsair and Unioner origin and was promptly ordered again to leave Liberty space without further complications.

Agent 'Blue'

Field Report No. 7 - 7/30/830 AS

Agent 'Blue' reporting aboard Fort Custer. Agent conducted a patrol mission into Pennsylvania was conducted at 1800 hours when a vessel, identified as a Zoner "Conference"-class Gunboat, callsign ZCV-Wayward.Warden, appeared near Bethelehem Station. Subject had a brief conversation with the agent, stating apparent ignorance to the current situation in Pennsylvania. After clearly pointing out the facts, subject made threatening statements and began the fight. It was soon apparent that the Zoner had a lot of experience in flying gunboats, but Fort Custer ultimately prevailed and disabled the vessel at 1821 hours.

During the fight, a Freelancer, callsign Rebekah.Wynn, and an Outcast gunboat, callsign Violetta.Salvador, was present, though they made no attempts to interfere.

Agent 'Blue', still aboard the Fort Custer, continued to talk with the Freelancer. Agent successfully convinced her of the situation and the two departed without incident. Fort Custer returned to patrol duty once the ship was repaired at Planet Erie.

However, the patrol didn't end there. The Outcast gunboat mentioned earlier showed up again at 1830 hours. Subject proceeded to berate Agent about shooting Zoners, while a passing Interspace vessel, callsign -Tiny-, was mocking the Liberty Security Force's leader about alleged Cardamine usage. Fort Custer engaged the hostile gunboat and successfully neutralized it at 1836 hours.

A First Armada vessel, callsign 1st|Raptor-1-RC, appeared and escorted the Fort Custer to Erie for repairs once more. Further observation revealed no further threats, both unlawful and Zoner, and the patrol mission was concluded successfully.
