Check in your control settings, L was assigned to some command.

This only happens to me in Disco Server, in my own server, I played up to 12 consecutive hours without issues.
I had this problem too, until people pointed out that I installed the game with the Bloom effect. So, I re-installed without it and everything works fine.

first thing first ,this thread is not for this discussion ,just reporting bugs, and second no need to uninstall and re-install just delete the file d3d8.dll in you freelancer EXE folder !

i want to Remind that i think caps docking is still bugged,my Liberty carrier is still not docking on any place, game crashes to desktop when i tried to dock any where ,yet after first update,:(

i have notice that the LABC crash coz of the light mortals i test it now i dismont the LM and i dock when i mount them agein when i try to dock the game crash
i will try to sell the old LM and buy new ones i hope it will work

Hello!!!
Yesterday I did a few tests.
I noticed that the Discovery installer performs the following operations.
First test installation integrity.
Second, install discovery mod.
BUT Discovery installer IS NOT a mod. Is a full game. In my case, when Discovery installer finish, i have two freelancer installations. One, fresh instalation and two, Discovery. By default in Discovery 4.8.6.0 folder. This is if you leave everything by default.
Well i delete fresh installation and i launch discovery game with freelancer.exe in ../Discovery 4.8.6.0/EXE. And Client crash were minimized and the game is much more stable.
Second test. I sell all of weapons, munition, thruster, shield and ID in my Corsair Cruiser. Then i purchase a new ID, full weapons and munition, shield and thruster.
Belive me, i can land in Crete without client crash.
I hope this can help.

FL Crashs to desktop whenever I enter the lane between Dijon and BS Beuvray in Burgundy. Tried it on two ships so far and both crashed it.

I CTDed twice now when receiving a Skype message while using a lane.
This might not even have to do anything with the mod, but it didn't happen before.
I am using old Skype 3.8 for a long time without problems now, but I don't use FAM to start the game like before but the Launchpad now (because you can enter the Freelancer directory there. It's a must for me).
