Location: Red Deer II, Alberta Subject: Application, Ms. Alison Hunt Evening. For now, I unfortunately don't have all that much to say to you beyond this: Your application to the LP, Inc. has, for the time being, been denied. It is simply a bit too short, which makes it a bit difficult for me to make any other decision in this case. You are of course free to apply again at any time. If you've got any questions regarding your application, do not hestitate to contact the LP, Inc. Recruitment Department. Or if you require any other assistance, for that matter. RE: LPI Recruitment (iRP) - SirWoody - 02-08-2014 Name: Charles Luther Age: 22 Height: 6 ft 1 in Weight: 84 KG Previous Jobs: Freighter escort, Bodyguard Qualifications: Basic, advanced and master flight degree at PA university Brief Biography: I was born into a working class family in PA. All my life i dreamed of becoming a fighter pilot and was determined to reach that goal. I worked hard for my degree and did some things I'm not proud of to get it but now I'm here and I'm ready and eager. I remember my days as a bodyguard/freighter escort. I had just got out of university and needed some credits to pay off my student loan. So i joined up with a freighter named Graham. I took part in some of his long hauls to New London from Manhattan. It was going really well and i was getting enough credits to pay off my loan until one day when we were using a trade lane in Manchester. They were everywhere. Corsairs. Graham tried to reason with them but they had there minds set on his cargo hold. There was nothing i could do. there were just too many of them for me to handle. I managed to shoot down three of them but my efforts were in vain. I saw Graham's ship explode. His last words were "run" and that's exactly what I did. I fired up my cruise engine and ran. I felt like such a coward. I vowed that day that I would never let that happen to anybody again and that's why I'm here. To make sure that nobody else is hurt by rouges, Corsairs or anybody else for that matter. Reasons for Joining: To put my training to good use for the right people. 5kyp3 protocol (Skype): jubjubh RE: LPI Recruitment (iRP) - Error - 02-08-2014 Flipping through the latest reports, Colin drags out two at random from the pile and starts reading, noting that there's still no gender field on the application form. Better remember to shout at HR and the Recruitment dept. for that one, I suppose. Back on topic, though: He does begin to nod approvingly while reading through the two applications. That's a good thing, in case you were wondering. - INCOMING TRANSMISSION, NN NO. #0293845 Sender: Deputy Chief Colin Sinclair, on behalf of Liberty Police, Inc. Location: Red Deer II, Alberta Subject: Applications, Mr. Jeffrey Cooper and Mr. Charles Luther Alright. So. I'll try to keep this one short, and cut to the chase: You've both (unsurprisingly, perhaps) been accepted to the Liberty Police, Inc., so I've sent 5-KYP3 contact requests to both of you to speed things up. Wouldn't want to keep you waiting. As for the formalities regarding why your applications were accepted: Mr. Cooper, accountants with TLAGSNET experience is, in my opinion, the best kind of accountant and exactly what the LP, Inc. needs. Particularily the "Inc." bit there, as you'll soon find out. Maybe. (Don't ask.) Mr. Luther, while you may not be an accountant with fifteen years on the clock and TLAGSNET experience to help you out, it's not like I'm going to say no to a former freighter escort pilot and bodyguard with heaps of flight time. I hope you will come to like the LPI's mainstay fighter, the Liberator; that thing is one of the finest (light) fighters you can get your hands on in Sirius. Welcome to the force to both of you! Signed, -Colin Sinclair, Deputy Chief of the Liberty Police, Inc. RE: LPI Recruitment (iRP) - Hawken - 02-09-2014 Name: Zain Hawken Age: 25 Height: 6'1" Weight: 192 Ibs Previous Jobs: Eight years of racing on a minor circuit in Pennsylvania, ship repair and modification at same station. Qualifications: Large amount of experience in light fighters and modified race ships, degree of ship engineering from Manhattan University. understanding of TLAGSNET system. Brief Biography: I was born to a rather wealthy family in Manhattan so I have never had to legitimately work a day in my life. My childhood years to my teens was full of nothing but living the life off my parents credits and not having a care in the world. When my parents were killed by a Xenos raid in Liberty it hit my family hard, my brother joined the Navy and at the time I figured he was just trying to run away from his family, meanwhile I tried to just keep my life from being impacted. I began racing as a way of blowing off steam and as a result I began to learn more and more about the ships I worked with, when the time came I was expected to head off to college I focused on the one thing I had any interest in, ships. After landing my degree I didn't really do anything with it. I realized I hadn't really done anything my entire life, and that all my life I had never had to make a real world decision about anything, in my early life I had always had my parents and their credits to keep me going but their saving were dwindling, in school I had a system to work within and now that I was supposed to be beginning my life I felt lost, I needed a goal. Reasons for Joining: It was one day outside my apartment in Manhattan that I saw a recruitment poster for the Liberty Police. It reminded me of years ago when my brother and I were kids and how we would stare at the military recruitment posters and dream of flying those ships. We would dream of being heroes and protecting our family, friends and country. It was then that I realized that what my brother did when our parents died wasn't running from his family, but cherishing them. He was doing what he believed was right, and now it was my time to do the same. And that is why I am here, to protect Liberty and all her systems and prevent anyone else from having to go through the same trauma my family did. 5kyp3 protocol: chaz.wilson8 RE: LPI Recruitment (iRP) - Error - 02-14-2014 INCOMING TRANSMISSION, NN NO. #8931234 Sender: Deputy Chief Colin Sinclair, on behalf of Liberty Police, Inc. RE: LPI Recruitment (iRP) - Error - 03-02-2014 INCOMING TRANSMISSION, NN NO. #8923450 Sender: Deputy Chief Colin Sinclair, on behalf of Liberty Police, Inc. Location: Red Deer II, Alberta Subject: Application, Mr. Leon Kennedy Evening, Mr. Kennedy. My apologies for the delay in processing your report; I wanted to do a few background checks first, as I believe I've seen your 5-KYP3 protocol handle before. In the end that possible match didn't matter all that much after I looked at your application a few more times, as it is unfortunately not quite what I'm looking for in a new recruit. The contents are fine, but it could use a bit of proofreading before I am willing to accept it. Your application to the LP, Inc. has in other words been denied for now. Do feel free to try again at a later time. And if you've got any questions regarding your application, do not hestitate to contact the LP, Inc. Recruitment Department.
