I'm hoping that "nit picking" wasn't directed at me.
I'll assume it wasn't, so I'm still waiting for a satisfactory response on this matter.

You want me to explain the fine details of KoF history?
I would rather spend my time playing the game.
It's history from long ago, made up in my wierd imagination.

The bounties that were posted are now closed.
We make very good profits and use some of it to make life difficult for various pirates who harrass traders.

PS. I'm getting a bit fed up with all the "lets have a poke at the KoF"
Just play the game guys

Yes, because it's a requirement, which is demanded from ALL factions and KoF should be no exception.

Oh? I will let this quote speak for itself as the implications are obvious.

go read it then, it's there in the faction thread
no exception

That's a brilliantly poor excuse for the matter which I've already brought to light, Chakotay.

In essence, you're saying:
"Forget roleplay and just let me powertrade."
Even your, er, tagline suggests that. "It's all about the profit."

...

Note that I don't have any bias against you.
I'm just condensing your statements and perhaps making a pointed straw man.

..

Still. I'd love that explanation.

Link to their faction thread?

I'm not normally in the business of defending KoF, but let's be reasonable here.

Well, he explained it nice

Looking here, I can only find one bounty board that applies to Liberty: The LPI bounties, and those have a few restrictions, some of which make them unclaimable by KoF ships, assuming they're using the Universal ID.

' Wrote:Notice on Fort Bush bulletin board

Check the LPI Fugitive Listing for loads of specific bounties!

[color=#3333FF]Bountied parties include:
  • Outcasts
  • Lane Hackers
  • Liberty Rogues
  • Xenos
  • Hellfire Legion
  • Generic Pirates caught in the act of piracy*
  • Rheinland Military targets (only valid in Texas)
Requirements:
  • Must be a Bounty Hunter or Freelancer/Mercenary in good standing with Liberty (collecting bounties from enemies of Liberty on LPI, LN, LSF or other Liberty corporations marks you as unable to collect)
  • All bounties valid only in New York, California, Texas, Colorado, Ontario, Pennsylvania, Alberta, Minnesota and New Hampshire.
  • Provide the name of the ship you wish the money wired to
  • Provide visual proof of target's ID, ship-type, and destruction/cargo drop. Also provide proof of any assistance provided by lawful forces or law-breaking by pirate if applicable.

KoF doesn't have necessary conditions for bounty hunting, and you folks are claim you are trader faction, and your "escorts" are just flying around looking someone to hunt, although they never met him without any trader around or even near.

And that nit picking was probably directed to me, it's my bad expeirence with KoF and why I shouldn't post it here.

Oh, a feedback thread. Do have one thing to say: corporate fighters acting as a sort of vigilante force just seems wrong. This went so far once as to include a KoF ship persisting in attacking a large force of unlawfuls (not even ones who touch KoF's trading ships, at that) even when the Naval forces present had stood down. Not an isolated incident, either.

Eh. Fair enough. I don't pretend to know everything about the bounties outside of the Sigmas.

I sense the community is still awaiting some explanations.:)
