Bounty Hunters Gone Wild - Baltar - 08-05-2008 Thanks Dusty ... but alas ... never saw a lawful sanctioned for this ... only pirates. Bounty Hunters Gone Wild - Dusty Lens - 08-05-2008 Give it a try Baltar, there's a new sheriff in town and he looks non too kindly on the oorps. Catch him before be becomes drunk and cynical! Bounty Hunters Gone Wild - Baltar - 08-05-2008 Dusty ... I've submitted reports ... and they've gone unanswered. I cannot scan through the Violation Report thread since it is not accessible by me in order to resubmit them for reconsideration. Bounty Hunters Gone Wild - Ayem - 08-05-2008 Well, any pirate who's spent any amount of time knows *BH*. He shall not speak, but he shall jump your LF with his BC in the bravest of fashions! For obviously, he is leet. Doesn't really bother me, but then I'm not really a pirate. Unlawful, but not making a living out of piracy. For those who are, it must be a kick in the teeth, and I feel for you. Perhaps we sigma criminals should build up more of a neighbourhood watch attitude. 'Hey, guys. BH BC in sigma 13 again.' Chorus: 'Bombers inbound!' We're all in the same boat, and we all hate the bounty hunters (speaking about unlawfuls here, since bounty hunters are ex-pirate traitors, pirate murderers and do it all for a little bit of cash as if our lives are worth so little! The insult! The humanity!) so feel free to poke some friendlies for assistance. Bounty Hunters Gone Wild - worldstrider - 08-05-2008 Well I will be very happy to see our Junker bomber come into service. Bounty Hunters Gone Wild - Walker - 08-05-2008 Send it to me first! Ill make sure every single one of your bombers have extra guns:P But yeah I would actually like to see that... But there needs to be some restrictions lessened and made on both parts of the law... Bounty Hunters Gone Wild - Raekur - 08-05-2008 For all the complaining I see about bounty hunters attacking pirates without there being a bounty on the pirate, what about the other side of the coin. Just yesterday I was jumped by a pirate bomber and a gunboat while in my fighter. I was not making any hostile actions towards either pirate and in fact once the first one showed on my scanner I turned around because I had no reason to engage the pirate. So, for my wanting to follow the communities wishes I get fragged for no reason beyond a pair of pirates wanting to pvp. The other factor that pissed me off was that it was in New York and if any pirates have even taken the time to read the DW message dump they would know that DW does not initiate combat in that system unless we chase someone into that area. So, quit your complaining about bounty hunters attacking pirates when there is no bounty on the pirate because it goes BOTH ways. Take a closer look at my screens in the first thread ... who's that? ... uh oh ... its *BH* ... imagine that. Quote:'Hey, guys. BH BC in sigma 13 again.' Works great when you got friends ... sucks when you're alone. PLEASE stay on topic ... this is not flood ... the topic of this thread is Bounty Hunters Gone Wild. You wanna talk about pirates ... create your own thread. And believe me ... there are FAR more threads bashing pirates than ANY other character type. In fact ... if you look hard enough you'll find a juicy little thread that got a lot of pirates sanctioned for pirating near lawful planets and such. Go figure. Now ... ALL I'M ASKING HERE IS FOR THE REVERSE TO BE TAKEN INTO CONSIDERATION. Bounty Hunters Gone Wild - Raekur - 08-06-2008 If a bounty hunter is camped outside Malta, Crete, or Buffalo I can see your reasoning for them being sanctioned. Issue is, Junkers are not a unlawful faction to the same degree that pirates are. That would be the same as calling Zoners unlawful because of who their main allies are. Bounty Hunters Gone Wild - El Nino - 08-06-2008 ' Wrote:What if Lawfuls could only enforce the law in gunboats and below and had to reaserve thier criusers and up as purely war machines? This should be set... Much of "cruisers limited" and "battleships limited" in the ID really helps cap whoring, Hell the moment I bought a cruiser I stoped cap-whoring becouse there was nothing to whore with it... And with the battleship it was even worse... That's becouse I was a pirate... It took me 3 months to figure out what to do with the damn thing... so I just might have had to learn roleplay it... If similar restrictions were set for all capital ships (gunboats excluded) that would change a whole lot of aspects of whoring. For example attacking only when under contract, not freely on sight,... if all this were implemented limiting capships in their use, then we could un-nerf them. And bring them to proper warshiping status, useful for war but nothing else...:yahoo:(It's a Warship, not a peacetime pirate hunter ship...) Bombers for example are better for taking down a transport, or atleast the corsair one is. One has to capwhore, to stay alive if you are attacked by mega cruisers... |
