My personal stance is that superior quality textures trump uniformity. Also, I think we've got people who can do the hitboxing.

My brother used to do modeling for Jedi Academy using Milkshape, he got frustrated with it and gave up entirely on modeling. X_X
Anyways I've been taking a closer look at the model, I am pleased with the fine details such as the small dishes around the conning tower (smaller one).
It makes it seem more like a complex machine than a generic cookie-cutter ship. :3

Someone crossed a Sarissa (rear), a Ranseur (engines) and a Typhoon-class (front) submarine and put it into Freelancer? 8|
Well, a bit bulky, but that's what you can expect from a Carrier I guess. Personally I'm not a big fan of the "Carrier" class in FL, but hey...it's a good model.
